Sleek and stylish, the Nomatic Carry-On Pro 22" Spinning Suitcase is built for travelers, not tourists—allowing you to pack more in less space, so you don’t have to compromise what you bring. This bag is made for frequent travelers who typically take one- to three-day trips, and need to take their technology with them, with easy access to it for work or security checks. This is a companion piece to Nomatic’s 22" Classic Carry-On and the larger 29" Check-In suitcase, making them a beautifully matched set.
The tech portion, an upgrade from the Classic suitcase, is an exterior-access compartment that comes with a slim protective case to hold a laptop. It has organizer pockets for accessories like power cables and external drives. A shoulder strap is included, so you can use the case as a separate bag for meetings. The compartment that the case fits into has more organizer pockets and plenty of room for other personal items like boarding passes, passports, and a wallet. For those who might need a bit more room for clothing, the tech case can be carried separately by the shoulder strap or trolley sleeve on the Pro’s handle, allowing you to use the tech compartment for other gear like a jacket.
A YKK zipper provides access to the roomy interior where you’ll find an array of mesh and regular pockets for accessories. A series of compression straps and a folding panel on one side distributes pressure evenly over a wider area and maximizes the compression. If you have shoes that don’t compress, simply fold the panel away from the shoes and compress the rest of your clothing. The other side has a double-panel zippered cover that holds all your stuff in place. Optional compression packing cubes are available separately and enable you to pack more in even less space.
The bag is made of tough and durable Makrolon polycarbonate to withstand rough handling and the wear and tear of world travel. Once it’s packed, the convenience of four silent-running Hinomoto spinner wheels let you better maneuver the case with the 3-stage telescoping handle. If you’re in a hurry and need to run, there is a low-profile side handle for hand-carrying. For security, there is a TSA-approved zipper lock integrated into the case.

Its A good Bag. The only downfall i felt was that it is too heavy almost at 4.5 kg. Using this as a carry on in flight when they only permit 7 kg is a big drawback. If you find ways to reduce the weight but keep the same quality would be very helpful.

I do like it, is very good quality, but I have two complaints. With the separate pocket the main compartment is not very deep. Maybe like 4 inches. The other is that it seems like scuff marks are very easy to create and it looks dusty and unclean very quickly.

Got the Nomatic Carry-On Pro a couple of months ago, and I’m really pleased with both the design and functionality. It wheels soooo smoothly! The included tech case is also a great addition. I’d prefer the Carry-On Pro to be a little larger (however, I tend to overpack, and this will force me to travel light!). Of course, I want luggage compact enough to fit in an overhead. This does. And that’s a tradeoff I’m willing to accept (fewer items, yet all the essentials).

Very excited to start using this high quality luggage!

The laptop compartment does not close or open easily. I expected a bit mor for the amount of money sent on one bag.

Got a great deal on their scratch & dent sale- didn’t notice any defects; top notch luggage!

It was in great shape to be honest, but I was extremely surprised how small the interior was. I’m not really sure if I’ll be able to get any clothes in there to go on a 2 day trip :joy:.

I was initially skeptical of the size but this little bag has made my travel life so much easier! My wife and I travel frequently for work and I was looking for a good solution for tech carry that wouldn’t result in the need for 3 bags since I also need an athletic backpack for work! I went through different backpack, briefcase, and roller luggage combinations before giving this roller a try! It packs substantially less than a traditional piece of comparably-sized roller luggage due to the tech compartment. You effectively lose the other side of the suitcase except for what flat items you can fit beneath the mesh divider. We tend to travel 4-5 days at a time but the limited space really forced me to critically think about each item I was packing. With efficient packing and planning, I was able to fit exactly what I needed for that length of a trip (I don’t need to pack business/formal wear for these trips). But beware that when they say this is best for 1-3 days, they mean it. The tech folio is the perfect size for exactly the things you need. I am able to fit my Macbook, iPad Pro, harddrive, mouse, chargers, etc. without making it too bulky to slide easily in and out of the tech compartment. Careful placement of the Macbook and iPad made for the SMOOTHEST TSA checkpoints I’ve experienced in our 5+ years of constant travel. This is the highlight they advertise and it’s definitely a game-changer. Once through security, I’m easily able to get to the items I need to get some work done before boarding the plane and stowing the folio under the seat with my backpack and the suitcase up in the overhead compartments! VERY easy flow on and off the plane! Awesome and worth the money if you’re an efficient packer with a tech need on the road!

Frankly, I was a bit stunned by the design. One, I expected it to be about 10-15 percent bigger overall. (Many carry-ons are). Two, the pull out computer section takes up so much room there is almost literally no room for anything in the main compartment. If anyone can fit even the most basic needs for an overnight trip in that space, I would like to meet them. They must be a Zen Buddhist with no possessions. I doubt that I will ever find a use for the product other than as a glorified briefcase for day use. Other than that, it’s great.

tldr; Great design, but layout results in not being able to fit a lot of stuff in it. Love the design, but a couple of thoughts: (1) The “main” compartment is really shallow. Make sure what you’re travelling with can be compressed down to a few inches in depth – clothes work fine, but you’d be hard pressed to get anything substantial in that main compartment. (Compare this to a traditional hardside carryon – this feels like maybe you can fit a third of what you could fit in one of those, in the main compartment. (2) The quick access compartment is awesome, but again depth is a consideration there – you can’t fit anything too deep. I have no trouble with laptop + a small thin bag with an ipad, airpods and passports, but that’s about it. Overall I bought this as an alternative to wearing a backpack when my back is acting up and I’m doing a longer trip, and it’s totally fine for that. But if I’m trying to pack for one bag travel I can fit a lot more into a regular hardside carryon.

Great bag for a day or two. My only complaint is the front access panel that falls open. A bit of a challenge to get it to lock when empty. Seems to be easier when the computer bag is in there.

Great bag and great company. They send me missed Techbag immediately without questions

Perfect bag for 1-3 day business trips as advertised and the tech compartment is perfect for carrying laptops, tablets, and headphones. Even better than the bag is Nomatic’s amazing customer service. Original bag had some minor manufacturing defects, to include faulty sewing and a missed attachment of the lining to the casing. Called customer service and had a perfectly new replacement within the week. Great bag, but it is truly the customer service that will make me a lifelong nomatic customer.

Love it. I have had Tumi Carry-On for over 20 years and Rimowa Carry-On bags for 9 years. Nomatic Carry-On is by far the best I’ve owned… Light weight, functional, and no more fussing around with my bag in airplane looking for chargers cables and other stuffs… It’s now all well organized. At the airport security check point, immigration, lounge, and gates I can easily take out things that I need without fumbling them around… And last but not least… I’ve received sooo many compliments on this bag… Even from my mom who hardly praised me. Lol.

Nice materials and design, but the removable hard cover to expand is not too easy to remove and reinstall.

Genius invention for people with tech, but terrible with main interior space. I could use it to store laptop and accessories but inside main compartment there is barely any room. I have to return. Maybe they can make it expandable or larger on the inside. Great for people who use it daily commute for work maybe. Not for traveling via airports.

Everything as expected. Looks great and functional, also the tech-case. Professional delivery service. Can’t wait to take my first post-corona trip with it in two weeks!

Amazing product! The tech case is a magnificent and the Carry-On is from another universe how compact and practical it really is…!

The wheels roll so smoothly, it’s magnificent. Love the tech compartment and security features. Sleek look, great quality. Tech case is great too, but don’t put too much in it if you want it to fit in the tech compartment. Sliding it over the handle is my favourite option, plus this way I can fit more in the suitcase. For my 1-3 day trips, this carry-on is awesome. With a pair of shoes and winter clothing, it’s a bit of a challenge, but as long as the tech case stays out, it can all fit. I love travelling lightly anyway.

Build quality is very good and the bag looks great. Very well designed. The laptop comartment in the front however could be a bit smaller to allow for more storage. Most company/personal laptops are now smaller and wouldn’t require so much space.
