Purchased to roast coffee beans. Nostalgia is little smaller in size/roasting capacity & fan not as powerful as expected compared to old West Bend-Poppery machines. However, after using, smaller size and lower fan is perfect for small batch & slower roasting for beans. Happy with purchase.

This is a very nice little corn popper. IT is well made, looks great and performs very well. It heats evenly, quickly and pops the corn quickly and evenly. So far we have not had any outrageous issues with unpeopled kernels. We really put it to the test this past weekend with a house full of company and it kept up with everyones appetite very nicely. Small and compact so it does not take much space to store and it cleans up and out quickly and easily. Very satisfied so far.

Doesn’t pop all the kernals no matter how little or how much u put in. The first are popped will nice then it starts popping the kernals half way

We like to eat some popcorn and watch a movie sometimes. Today it was Shrek on the old VCR. It is funny to see all the new things coming out that they want to sell you and then it says ” Coming to A Theater Near you, May 2002″ . I like to live in the past I guess. So this popcorn popper seems to be a throwback to 30 years ago when hot air was the new and greatest way to pop corn. I think it still is. We have tried microwave and find it to taste funny. We gave up on oil poppers years ago as messy . This sleekly retro designed machine with zero electronic hard to understand counterintuitive buttons to push is just right. Plug it in and pop. and as a plus it is almost impossible to burn your popcorn in an air popper. We will use it for a long while.
