Not powerful enough to eject all the popped corn. Have to tip it over to collect rest of popped kernels. Many kernels left unpopped from a new bag of popcorn.

The air popper is cute and works great. It’s easy to use, too. I especially like the size.

This air popper works great. Just put a large bowl in front, use built in scoop to measure kernels, pour in and turn on. In a few minutes the bowl is full of hot popcorn without the mess.

I read the reviews, I noticed one stated he purchased this product to roast coffee beans. I knew this was the air popper for me. Let the unit heat up for 5 minutes and I have had 99.999% of my popcorn popper in a very short amount of time. The aim of the spout is great as the popcorn literally is lifted out & down into the container. I would highly recommend this unit. I use it frequently and if you don’t melt butter in the measuring cup, there is very little to clean up!

It meets my expectations so far. I would recommend it.

It’s easy to use. It makes great popcorn. It’s easy to clean and maintain. The operative descriptor is the word “easy”.

Air popped popcorn inst the best way to make popcorn. If you want good popcorn, use a whirly pop with coconut oil and flavacol salt. Plenty of demos on YouTube.

It does an adequate job. One minor annoyance is that butter didn’t melt in the top cover. The main thing I didn’t like was that it doesn’t shoot out all of the popped popcorn. There’s a lot left inside but the unit is too hot to pick up to dump it into the bowl.

I am impressed with this machine. I average 6-10 unpopped kernals. It is fast and I love that it has an on/off switch.

Great little air popper. My family loves popcorn and this is a great way to get our treat a healthy way. Recomend turning on a few minutes before poring in your corn and yes not all of it will pop.

Love it! Pops all the kernels, easy to load, looks good on the counter. Thinking of ordering another one!

It was easy to assemble, heat up, pour in popcorn and overflow my bowl. It does what I wanted it to do.

The best way to do this review is to compare this Nostalgia machine to the Presto and knock-offs I have used for over 30 yrs. First this Nostalgia uses 1040 watts and hot air swirls the kernels around in the cup like a tornado. Whereas, the old style Presto uses 1440 watts and blows hot air straight up the tunnel through the kernels. So. the energy savings with the Nostalgia is significant. Also the Nostalgia is more compact in size and has the big improvement of an on/off switch instead of just pulling the plug and seeing electric sparks from the old Presto designs. Although, it seems that the Presto produces bigger popped corn faster. A couple of real distractions with the Nostalgia is its noises. It sounds as loud as a vacuum cleaner, vibrates from an out of balance motor, and the clear top cover comes lose and rattles annoyingly. So, the Nostalgia needs a few manufacturer fixes. For me the Nostalgia is on the top shelf as a back-up.

I rate the Nostalgia Air Pop Hot Air 4 oz. red popper as 3 stars (“average”). The positives are: it does pop the kernals, the price is a bargain, and it is sleek/lightweight. The negatives are: since it has a lower wattage, it doesn’t heat up and pop as effectively; i.e., longer to pop, and more unpopped (wasted) kernals. For around 5 dollars more, you can buy another brand with more wattage for better/faster popping.

Awesome popper not overly loud. The on off button is a lovely touch. My last popper was always on would spark when plugged in or unplugged as well as burn popcorn. This item is perfect doing none of those things at an awesome price.

It stinks. Literally. I had to run it many, many times before it quit giving off fumes that smelled very toxic. It was so bad I had to run it in the garage until the smell went away. After that was over, it does a good job of popping corn.

I like it a lot. It’s easy to use but the kernels do fly around a bit and there are a good amount of unpopped kernels. Overall it works like a charm.
