Makes better popcorn than the microwave kind, though the opening should probably be pointing down a little more. The first few poped kernel tend to fly out past the receiving bowl. but you can probably rid something to prevent that. Maybe a towel from the top to the outside of the bow.

This hot air popcorn popper is extremely easy to use. It heats up for 2 minutes and it is ready to pop enough kernels to fill a large bowl (see picture). You just plug it in and press the on/off button (see picture) to get it started. Just stand back and wait for the kernels to start popping! It is that easy! Once all the kernels have popped, just turn off the popper at the on/off switch and let it cool before you clean it and put it away. It does come with an owner’s manual, but the operation is pretty intuitive. However, the manual does have some good recipes for your popcorn (especially the parmesan popcorn!!), so be sure to keep that manual for the recipes! I highly recommend this hot air popcorn popper because of its ease of use as well as how easy it is to clean up after popping.
