Nifty little chocolate fondue machine! Used it this past Labor Day weekend when I hosted a family get together. It was a hit with the guests! Especially the kids! It’s so easy to use. This item required minimal assembly straight out of the box, but it was simple enough and not too time consuming. Requires some melted chocolate (32oz), turn the knob and it does the rest. Add marshmallows, fruit, and crackers and it becomes yummy fun for all ages. Easy to clean also! Highly Recommend!

I have used this fountain for nacho cheese, hot fudge and caramel sauce. Always a hit as the shape is different than what people expect. Note: the heat function does not have an off option, so if the unit is on the heat is on. I often would like to use the fountain for salad dressings (with sample cups for diners to catch the dressing) but don’t want hot dressing. 2nd note: it is louder than most fountains of this size

Who can pass on Chocolate Fondue on a strawberry? It is best desert for my kids. They simply loves it.Basically this product does what others do.Put melted chocolate and it runs through the pipe and it flows top to bottom.Great thing is that it drops from one level to one below, so you actually can stick in the fruit or other food very easily. This is very small change but makes big difference on usage.I have two other fondue machine at home but this is far better and easier than others.Oh, and very easy to clean. I guess this is what my wife like the most. 🙂

You can’t beat this little chocolate fountain for the price! It adds so much fun to the desert table at a party or gathering in your home. It is lightweight and very easy to use once it is put together. I will say the instruction manual does show a picture of all of the pieces that you receive in the box, but it does not give any instructions on how to put the plastic pieces together to form the cascading fountain. It is pretty easy to figure out by looking at the picture of the product on the box, but just make sure the plastic pieces fit together snugly. There are little notches in each piece that fit together that allow you to make a tight seal between the plastic pieces, and for the cascading pieces to be lined up properly. After putting together the fountain, the instructions advise you to turn the knob on the base to “heat” for 5 minutes before starting the fountain. We melted 32 oz of chocolate chips with 3/4 cup of vegetable oil in the microwave, then poured it into the stainless steel base of the fountain. We made a little bit of a mess pouring the melted chocolate into the base. Plan ahead and use a microwaveable bowl that has a pouring spout. After 5 minutes on the “heat” setting, you are ready to turn the knob to “motor heat” and start up the fountain. Once turned on, it creates 3 cascading tiers of chocolate. The instructions recommend that after a few minutes of running the fountain, you may turn it off for 30 seconds and restart it to get perfectly smooth chocolate without any air bubbles in it. We found this step to be unnecessary. The bubbles are few and very small. Note: The last sentence on my video review was cut off. I was mentioning that the instructions warn you many times that the product is very hot and to be careful. After extended use, I found that the inside bowl/base was very hot (that bowl holds the chocolate), but the outside base was only mildly warm.

What a cool product. I never thought that I would own a fondue fountain, but when I saw the NostalgiaCascading Chocolate Fondue Fountain in Stainless Steel available, I placed it in my cart immediately. The directions were fine. There are not many words, but there are a number of very good pictures that aid the operator into easily assembling the fountain in only 5 – 10 minutes. After assembly, the only thing left is to melt 32oz of chocolate with a bit of vegetable oil and enjoy. The motor itself is a bit loud for my taste, but not a deal breaker at all.So, if you are in the market for a something fun and different at your next get together, I would highly recommend the Nostalgia Cascading Chocolate Fondue Fountain in Stainless Steel.
