Works great, made chicken quesadillas with onions and peppers and cheddar cheese. Just have to watch and not over load it or it will come out the sides. Going to try a pizza quesadilla with pepperoni mozzarella cheese sausage and onions.

Have tried making both thick and thin quesadillas on this apparatus, both came out wonderful with hot interiors and thoroughly melted cheese. Doing it in a pan had problems with getting everything hot without immolating the outside, while flipping the whole quesadilla over without losing some of the contents was not easy, especially for thick ones. With this method there is no flipping involved as it heats both sides simultaneously. The only thing that is different is that the outside of the tortillas do not get as brown as when they were buttered. The maker is wiped down lightly with oil periodically and that’s it, nothing sticks and it is certainly healthier.

We got this quesadilla grill to see if we could easily make chicken quesadillas. It will handle up to 8 inch diameter tortillas which is what we used to test the device. We followed the instructions and first coated the cooking surface with vegetable oil to treat it. We then plugged it in and the red light came on. We waited for the green light to come on which means it is ready to cook. It took 35 minutes exactly for that to happen; however, we noticed that to see the green light you have to stand right on top of it, not like the red light which is viewable from any angle. So, it might have only taken a few minutes; we did not retest that. My wife made the ingredients and we placed the two tortillas with filling on the grill. In four minutes it was done. The drip tray works extremely well – no overflow onto the table. The quesadillas tasted good. We made several. Our choice of store bought tortillas was disappointing – they came out too crispy. So, pick and try several tortillas or roll your own. The grill worked extremely well and the cooking surface is easy to clean. It is red so those of us that like red color will like the device in your kitchen. We are pleased with the product. There ya go!

I don’t usually buy the taco-sized flour tortillas, so all I have used on this is larger, burrito-sized tortillas. They don’t fit completely within the edges of the appliance, but that did not really make a huge difference. The outside edge just wasn’t hot and crispy. I folded the edges over while eating it and it was great! The part of the tortilla that did get cooked was excellent. I felt like I left them on the hot maker longer than the recommnded time, but they were still just cooked enough to be lightly browned and crispy. The maker divides the quesadilla into sections, making it easy to cut them and helping to hold the contents inside the quesadilla. I put cheese directly on the bottom tortilla, put all my ingredients in, and then put more cheese on top of that before covering it with the second tortilla. The result was a crispy, filled quesdilla that was cheesy and easy to eat. Ingredients and toppings will obviously determine flavor and taste, but the maker did a good job of cooking it. It was easy to use and easy to clean. My only issue is that it is a one-at-a-time appliance. My kids were done and ready for a second quesadilla well before I was done with everyone else’s. At 3-5 minutes per quesadilla for cook time, plus a minute or so to put the shells and ingredients on the maker, you are easily at close to ten minutes just to get two on the table. If it’s only one person or maybe two, it’s no big deal. Any more can be a challenge.

Works great but it’s too small. Great price. I’m not aware of anyone that is larger on the market.

This is a very nice little quesadilla maker! It’s small, lightweight, and looks pretty nice, branding its logo on the top lid. The inside is nicely sectioned to allow indents in your quesadillas, which makes cutting or ripping pieces off a breeze. It is also non-stick, which held up true to its word so far in use, never having to use any kind of oil or spray. It cooked everything neatly and evenly, and tasted great. The only little downside of this is that you cannot take out the trays for cleaning, if things get messy. It’s not hard to clean, but would probably be a little nicer if they popped out. Other than that, this is an excellent purchase to make quick snacks or dinners.
