I gave a 4 star rating, probably should have been a 5 star but I encountered what I thought was problems in the beginning. The dasher would not turn! This needs to be spelled out plainly in the booklet that comes with it. I read through the book several times and could not find this dasher issue. Other than that I am tickled with the purchase. I would recommend it to anyone. I have been a “maker” of ice cream for many years. Had in the past used a W. M. brand while the buckets going bad was my issue for switching to another brand. You was my choice and again I am pleased.

It worked like a charm. I really liked the see through lid. It was easier to know how thick the ice cream was getting. I also liked the plastic bucket inside the boards on the outside. Not as much waste or mess from the ice and rock salt. Very easy clean up afterwards. It meet all of my expectations.

I really like the positive lock down feature and the on an off switch on the motor. My old ice cream maker didn’t have these features. The plastic liner does make for easy cleanup. The wood sides seem to insulate the bucket much better than my old freezer which was made of plastic.I have used this freezer twice and had finished ice cream in 25 minutes.
