This is a light weight/ at home snow cone maker. I have used another small snow cone machine that enough power to fairly quickly make snow cones for my second grade class. This snow cone machine does not sound as strong and does not crush ice as quickly. It is easy to assemble and use. It crushes regular size ice cubes into what you would expect for snow cones or frozen drinks. The “reservoir” for ice holds enough to fill one cup. The machine also comes with a snow cone holder that snaps on the front.

This snow cone maker was fun to use and brought back childhood memories. I just had dental work done so this came in handy where I couldn’t eat solid food for two days so smoothies and slush drinks were great to have. The directions were easy to follow. I made plenty of ice cubes so I could have plenty of slush and smoothies. I am glad I read the directions first before getting out the ice cubes and trying to use it. There were no paper cone cups or sample syrups, so I had to go out to the grocery store and buy these products. It was easy to use and the slush and smoothies came out great. I would of gave it five stars if this electric snow cone maker came with some paper cone cups and little packets of different syrups.

The Nostalgia Electric Snow Cone Maker is fun in a box.The motor is strong and provides crushed ice for your snow cones very quickly. Just put in your ice cubes and push down on the top to crush. Then pour on your flavoring and enjoy.Note that is product is only for the Snow Cone Maker and no cups, straws, bottles or flavoring is included. You must buy the kits separately, and are available from Home Depot online.

My daughter is sick and cannot get liquids down, so I needed a GOOD snow cone machine so she could at least eat the ice. Just about everywhere I looked, they only sold the “kids flimsy toy one”. Ordered this online. It works great! Made well. Just what she needed. Very pleased.

This easy to use machine is perfect to make shaved ice for snow cones or any other reason you need small amounts of shaved ice. I used to love this when I was a kid, but my mother had some crazy machine that produced the shaved ice into a container that you then had to awkwardly get into a cone or dish – it was also a hassle to clean. Forty years later, the process is much improved! The entire process is this – put ice cubes (I used cubes from my refrigerator’s ice maker) into the body of the machine, place the top on top of the ice and lightly push down to activate the motor which grates the ice which falls out the bottom into a cone of cup. That simple. Cleanup is also very simple as there really is only two pieces to wipe clean. The other nice thing about the simplicity is I can let my five year old “make” her own snow cone as the blades are inside and out of harm’s way so long as I set it up and clean it up. Looking forward to using this a lot this summer!

I was pregnant and had a ice craving so it was a life saver and money saver for me. Shaved ice anytime …day or night …hot or cold weather. A little loud but good price and great machine!!!
