This is a nice little cotton candy machine, it takes a while to get it warmed up/ready to use, but for someone that doesn’t have a lot of experience its pretty nice because it allows you to get everything setup. The speed that it produces the cotton candy is relatively slow compared to the commercial units, so if you want something fast that will be an issue. Clean up seems to be pretty easy with it, no issues accessing areas for cleaning. I will say that instructions are a little hard to follow and a little misleading, you can put hard candy into the cotton candy maker but it will work better if its in a more powder form.

We’ve made cotton candy once for nearly the entire afternoon! We used both floss sugar and hard candy! The floss sugar takes a little longer but is light and fluffy. The hard candy (jolly ranchers) produces cotton candy quicker is more dense with lots of flavor. Maybe too much flavor for cotton candy but the kids loved it!
