The Taster is Red hot color like a vintage model. The toaster has a bagels function which can be used to toast one side.The toaster is made of plastic and does not get hot when using it. the top made of metal and it has a tray in the bottom to remove the crumbs. It has a cord holder in the bottom. this good for the use of bagels and bread.Definitely a must use product

Toaster is attractive but does not function that well. It is the slowest toaster we’ve ever owned by a long way. When the toaster pops-up the toast jumps into the air sometimes landing on the counter.

You don’t have to be a baby-boomer to appreciate the retro look of this toaster. The candy-apple red and white with chrome accents add a nice splash of color to any counter-top.The bread slots are extra-wide. The controls include 5 heat settings, a Defrost button, a Bagel button and a Cancel button. Each button has it’s own indicator light. The Defrost and Cancel buttons are self-explanatory. The Bagel button sets the two inner elements to toast while the two outer elements only warm. This setting worked well for English muffins. The elements themselves seem thin and don’t glow very brightly. I don’t know that, that is a bad thing. It may mean that they’ll last longer. I did find myself needing to use mostly settings 4 and 5.There is a pullout crumb tray at the opposite end. The power cord can be stored underneath wrapped around 4 hooks molded into the bottom. The instruction booklet is printed in English, French and Spanish.

This has got to be the most unique appliance in our kitchen. I didn’t have anything else in my kitchen that was red so I was a little hesitant in getting this one. I was amazed on how it fit right in. I even bought a few red kitchen towels and thinking of transforming my kitchen to the retro design. Works perfect, Toasts evenly, many toasting options to choose from and the wide slots are great for bagels. You can even use the defrost feature for the bagels, waffles and pastries that are frozen. No need to defrost in microwave prior to toasting. Very sleek design, a definite conversation piece, right in my kitchen. We love it.
