It does exactly what I need it to do. Seems like a pretty solid machine for the price. Runs very smoothly. My only complaint would be the finish on the tool rest, didn’t like it. My tools didn’t seem to glide very well. A little tweaking and good to go. No big deal.

This is a great lathe! The expandability of it is great for me as a beginner. I’m able to adapt it to my needs when I’m turning spindles, bowls and small platters. The headstock thread is a standard size so it fits most brands of chucks.
