I have plugged the lamp in and it gives a nice bright light and seems to be of good quality construction.Even though the gooseneck is 19 inches long and flexes well, I had hoped that it would feel more like 40 inches long for “TOTAL” flexibility (ha, ha). I’ll get to actually use it in the next couple of weeks and then I’ll know if it does all I expected of a “flexi lamp”.

Well built, sturdy unit. Works great as a reading light on a metal bed frame. I took the switch on the base off for the sake of looks since it is only used to turn the magnet on/off. The light switch is on the end of the lamp.
