Made from precision machined solid 1045K steel for extra strength and rigidity. A custom wooden hand wheel can be designed by the user to insert this hand wheel into for extra comfort. I bought this hand wheel for my Nova 1424 lathe as it did not come standard with the lathe. It installed easily and no problem using the morse taper knock out tool/rod despite the smaller inside diameter hole size. The finish is very smooth and allows good grip for positioning work and/or chuck.
