This has been a great addition to the Nova chuck I bought some months back. The ability to switch from spur center turning to jaw clamping is so much easier than removing/installing the whole chuck. Much more efficient. This spur has worked very well. I tap it into the wood before clamping into the jaws, smooth and efficient.
