I now have three of these that I use for connecting devices with my Asus VivoTab Smart PC. One I keep in my camera bag for a SD Card Reader and Sync cord to import photos. Another I keep on a USB hub attached to keyboard & mouse for when I want to use the VivoTab in a desktop setup. The third I keep in the tablet bag for any other time I need to make a Type A USB connection. A must have item!

Not thoroughly used it but tested it before going on vacation. Great products. Copy files quickly to and from tablet.A need be for photographers doing backups of their pictures on the go.

I use this adapter to connect an external hard drive to my Samsung Galaxy Tab S. Tablets only have mini usb ports. To use an external or any other device that uses a usb port, you’ll need this adaptor. I also recommend getting an adapter that has a mini USB port on the adapter so you can keep your tablet charging while you use it with the USB device.

Called Samsung to find out if the Galaxy 4 had OTG, they said no… they were wrong. I can attach my 2 T Passport hard drive to reload books and music. I can power my camera using Android software, the OTG and the Nikon USB cord. Tried it with the S5 and it also works.

Bought to use to share data between Samsung Tab 4 tablet and flash drives, very simple to use, just plug usb flash drive to connecter, and then plug connecter in to tablet micro usb port. Tablet should recognize usb connecter and flash drive and away you go. Sadly mine did not recognize any flash drives (tried several different flash drives and it worked with none of them). Surprisingly it worked well with my Lexar Card Reader easily transferring images from a 64 GB SDXC card
