The Olson scroll saw conversion kit fit my old Sears Craftsman scroll with no problem with installation. Good purchase for the money.

Many scroll saws are setup for pinned blades. Many folks are fine with a general purpose scroll saw. The Olson kit let’s the user use the pin less blades. Those are for fine . intricate work, all sorts of plastics, paper and metals. Small start holes can be drilled to get the blade in the interior of a pattern. A massive upgrade to your tool at a relatively low cost,. Conversion was easy for my Dremel less than a half hour. Keep all your parts and you can switch back in case you wish to use up your stock of pinned blades. Small investment, big upgrade.

The product works as promised. Once I figured out the blade tension, the cutting was great. My only issue was the instructions that came with the kit. The installation instructions could have been better. Instructions for those new to the use of pinless blades and their correct tension would have been very helpful.
