This blade is manufactured out of high carbon steel. The Flex Back band saw blade with the regular tooth shape is great for making fine cuts. These are heavy-duty, durable commercial grade blades perfect for any industrial, woodworking or DIY project.

Tooth hardness: 62-63 RC, back hardness: 28-32 RC, raker set: left, right, straight (raker) pattern

This saw blade is a beast. I use it for cutting metal. I’d suggest using gloves when installing it as calling its teeth “very sharp” is an understatement. They are like razor blades.

Bought this to resaw some cherry. Rides smooth and tracks well on my WEN bandsaw.I was able to get consistent results, although the cut is fairly rough with only 3 tpi.

I bought a Timberwolf once at twice this price. It broke at the weld after a couple weeks of use. I’ve never had an Olson blade break. I do a lot of lathe work, so I’m frequently ripping logs into turning blanks. if you’re only cutting 1 or 2 inch stock these blades will last a long time. if you’re ripping 4-6″ thick hardwood, you’ll have to sharpen or changes blades pretty frequently, but that’s the nature of steel blades. They aren’t carbide tipped. You won’t find a better blade at this price point. Heck, you won’t find a better blade at double this price point.
