I have a saw mill and do a lot of construction. I use my band saw ever day on big pieces of different kinds of oak, mesquite and the blade cuts clean without burning. The only thing I would change is the hardness of the teeth. The set in the teeth seems to flatten out a little to quick even when cutting straight . When making a turn it goes faster. I understand that this is all hard wood so it is to be expected.
