I didn’t even need a wrench this good–I just wanted something with a long enough handle to use as an emergency gas shut off tool. But I was amazed at how tight the tolerances are, how parallel the jaws are. It is also very well machined and polished, with smooth adjustment and no rough parts. I believe this would be a very useful tool for a real mechanic (which I’m not ;-), and reliable enough not to round out any fasteners.

Olympia 18″ Adjustable Wrench is solid, drop forged with nice finish tool, except: it opens only to 51mm instead of 57mm (2″ instead of 2-1/4″). In addition, the opening at the jaw is not even, at the tip it is 2″ and at the end of a jaw it measures 2-1/6″. If someone is okay with the surprising dimensions I described then the wrench is overall good. Hope this information is helpful. Happy shopping.
