These chisels arrived very sharp (as you would expect), with nice protective ends for each chisel. They have a nice feel and heft. after trying them out, on several jobs, I can say that they are excellent quality.

I got these chisels specifically to work on mounting door hardware. They are mighty sharp and hold their edges well. I did not need to do much hammering because they cut into the wood so well with a bit of hand effort. They look very durable, the steel hammering surfaces on top of the chisel handles being quite large. I am pleased with this product and especially appreciate the plastic cutting edge guards that were included with them. I store the chisels with these edge guards in place as they protect the cutting edges and help to prevent injuries to those handling them.
