This drill does not do pipe at all without damaging the pipe as it has no curved holder for pipe. Don’t be fooled by the “permanent” pipe jaw in the description. It seems the real issue would be how long the ratcheting feature would hold up. It seems to be a good little vice for light use for the average home owner.

Great vise. Perfect size for my garage work bench. I like the quick open/close feature which eliminates having to turn the handle to adjust the jaws to opening needed. The swivel base allows me to move clamped piece in desired position. I’m pleased with this vise.
