Bolt cutters are nice and the folding of the handles make them easy to store. The problem I have is that when I unfold the handles, they don’t lock into place on one side because there is too much paint or something. They still work, but do not function as they should and that is a little disappointing.

Received my bolt cutters in a decent amount of time; opened the box and originally could not open jaws, but after a minute or two they finally gave way and are still very tight-could probably use a little WD40. Little pricey, but kind of expected I guess and overall, awesome concept and product. A+

Serves it’s intended purpose of cutting things and being able to store it in a smaller place than would be possible with standard, non-foldable bolt cutters. I carry these in my truck, under my back seat but they also fit in a box that I carry in the back of my truck, only because they are foldable. They also fit in my tool bag, again, impossible if they were not foldable. Home depot on line also did a FANTASTIC job with price, customer service, correcting a problem that occurred with the product, etc. I will definitely buy more stuff from Home Depot on line!

I am a small boned older woman with arthritis in both shoulders YET these bolt cutters although a tad bit heavy to carry worked absolutely great making cutting through a medium heavy chain easy with very little effort on my part. It took me only a couple of minutes to get the chain situated and then open the bolt cutters to the width necessary to latch onto the chain links and to my delight with a little push using both arms and hands I was able to break the chain. I am very satisfied!
