I bought this juicer a month ago with a primary purpose of juicing wheatgrass which I have been growing at home. Previously I had an Omega centrifugal juicer which as great for carrot and apple juice. The 8008 handles leafy greens well and I have no issue there. But I have tried, several times, to juice 2ozs of wheatgrass and the grass just gets bungled up in the auger. I am experienced at juicing wheatgrass using a commercial juicer and know to only put small amounts in at a time. Using my 10″ x 10″ tray of wheatgrass gives me about 2 ozs of juice and then only after untangling the auger, reversing, re-introducing. Long story short – this machine is no use to me and I have made a mistake in purchasing it for wheatgrass. I tried to look for videos demonstrating on YouTube how to juice wheatgrass using the Omega 8008 and there isn’t one. My strong advice is to, before purchasing a masticating juicer, look for a video on YouTube to see if your chosen model is shown juicing wheatgrass. If not, think twice. If you plan to juice leafy green and vegetables then this is a fantastic juice. Wheatgrass? Nooooo.

After many months of research, I knew I wanted to buy an Omega Juicer. I heard they were one of the best brands you could buy at retail, and was not fooled by the endorsements other juicers had.I picked the Omega 8008 for many reasons:* BPA Free (Do your research, as you’d be surprised)* Larger shoot for the vegetables to go in* Handles all fruit and veggies well* Easy to clean and easy to useWhat I found was that this juicer did everything it said it would, and more. I love how it handles my fruit and vegetables, and I feel I get every ounce of juice that is in them. It is super easy to clean, though there are a lot of pieces. The juicers are mixed very nicely, and even after a few days, I don’t notice the separation I see with other juicers. I do wish the shoot was a little larger, and in the future, may upgrade to the NC800, as it has the larger shoot. Overall, I am extremely satisfied, and have already talked my friends into investing in a juicer as well. Definitely a better way of living, and I’m grateful to Omega for that!

I purchased the Omega 8008C in February 2018 from Macy’s. It was on sale, plus no shipping. This is my first juicer and I wanted it to be my last. I’ve had it for four months now, so I’m past the ‘honeymoon stage’… and I literally, can’t keep my hands off it. It’s a well built machine, easy to use/clean, quiet and does more things than juice. (you can also make homemade pasta, ice cream, almond milk etc.). It also comes with a 15 year warranty!! (what company does that anymore!?) I absolutely LOVE it.

I got mine few weeks ago and notice something was wrong. I switch reverse and worked ok. Switch was reversed. Technician reconnected the switch right and now is working awesome. Very happy with it.

This is a great wheat grass juicer. It also works well with leafy green, not so well with pears or anything mushy. I saw some complaints about the filter being plastic and not lasting too long. But on this model J8008C it is very heavy duty plastic with a metal strainer insert. I don’t foresee a problem here. All the plastic parts are very nice, come apart and go together perfectly easily. Super easy to clean. This is a high quality machine. Love it.

I went looking for a slow speed juice after my high speed juicer broke. I researched the quality of slow juicers and their life-span and saw some amazing results, as long as you pay attention and take good care of them, and I decided to go out and buy one. I decided to buy the J8008C as warm up to get into slow speed juicers and I have been highly impressed. The juicer tears apart all of my vegetables and with the nozzle at the end controlling the amount of flow, I can really squeeze every last drop even out of the dark greens–I.E. Kale. I have already suggested this to my friends and I would suggest it to anyone here reading it. Regardless of what the youtube videos will show you, you can use this juicer to every advantage it has. Especially if you like to cook and create your own dishes. I would suggest giving the juicer a few minutes to warm up before you begin though, a tip I learned after I first opened it. The only drawback I have to add is after getting into juicing more, the 80 RPM’s is a little high when gaining the most yield. Yet, with all of the extra attachments it comes with and how much yield I still have. It’s definitely more than worth what they’re asking for and the benefits it gives you.

I LOVE my Omega 8008C juicer. It’s very easy to clean, quick, and can juice pretty much ANYTHING. The juicer also comes with a 15 year warranty and OMEGA is a company that actually stands by that warranty and MORE. I contacted OMEGA after I accidentally broke my juicer after 2 years. They responded within 24 hours and replaced it within a week. I prefer juice over blended smoothies because juice is smoother and more palatable in my opinion. I watched a documentary called Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead, which is about a sick man who transformed his health and body after doing a 60 day juice fast. I have chronic hives like the man in the documentary, and arthritis. I noticed a healthier plant based diet significantly improves my symptoms. My grandma gave me her old basic juicer after I told her about the documentary. After using it I realized juicing is a great way to eat veggies without really eating them lol. But her cheap juicer was extremely difficult to clean and really loud. It also could not juice spinach leaves, kale or herbs. After doing some research on the best types of juicers I knew I wanted a masticating juicer because of the higher quality juice and nutrient density of the juice this type of juicer produces. Although it may seem pricey to some the Omega J8008C is actually one of the least expensive quality masticating juicers in its class. I bought mine from Macy’s in 2014 and I am still obsessed with it. I made an Instagram video of my juicer while I sang “I’m in love with a juicer.”LOL. I also posted pictures of the juices I made. I’d juice mornings before I had an exam in law school. I called it “magic juice” lol. I like to think it helped a little lol I graduated with honors. If you’re debating if you should buy it, questioning the price or considering other juicers, stop. This is a great investment in your health and absolutely worth it! Get it!
