The Vertical Juicers from Omega operate at a super low speed of 43 RPM. Omega’s powerful 150-watt motor and reduction gears combine to produce twice the crushing force of most low speed vertical juicers. The power of the dual edge auger, the tighter fit tolerance and the low speed operating system cuts and squeezes ingredients rapidly to yield the maximum amount of juice. This process also breaks down fiber to a palatable level for less pulp and a smoother, nutrient-rich juice.
- Low speed of 43 RPM minimizes heat build-up and oxidation for a healthier juice
- No drip juice tap at the end of the juice spout can be closed during the juicing process to create a mixing function
- Dual-edge single auger and heavy duty juicing screen
- Easy cleaning with automatic pulp ejection
- Vertical, compact design can easily sit on your kitchen counter

The best juicer I’ve ever owned. What impressed me most about this juicer is the quantity and quality of the juice and how dry the pulp is, which means I am getting the most out of my produce. It is a one trick pony that only juices though. It does not blend or make nut butter or sorbet, it only juices, which is why I wanted it, and what it is designed to do, and what it does a fantastic job at. No juicers are super easy to clean up, but it is the easiest juicer I have ever cleaned up after. All in all I couldn’t be much happier unless someone else was making the juice for me.

I am not new to vertical slow juicers having used a well known brand name one daily for nearly 3 years. I just moved back to the States and the voltage is different so I needed to get a new one. From online research I decided to buy the Omega VSJ843QR (I think the red is gorgeous). The first thing I noticed is that all the parts appear to be of a very high quality. It’s easy to assemble and very quiet to use. The first item I juiced was oranges. I used to be a little dissatisfied with the way my previous juicer (Hurom HU100) handled oranges…mainly with the amount of juice left in the pulp. The Omega did a near flawless job with the oranges. The pulp was extremely dry and the juice was the highest quality I could imagine!I don’t want to make this too long so I will just say that I juiced a combination of some romaine, chard, endive, and apples and the result was nothing less than impressive. The same can be said for the carrot juice I made. Both juices turned out creamy and smooth and basically pulp-free. The only thing that I have noticed thus far that I think could be improved upon is to provide a handle or some other way of easily carrying the Omega. If you are familiar with vertical slow juicers you will immediately notice the technical improvements in the new Omega and also the improvements in overall quality. Cleaning this juicer is not a hassle, especially in addition to the self-cleaning feature. If you intend to buy a juicer I would say this new Omega VSJ843QR would make a fantastic choice!

Had a centrifugal juicer for years, quit using because of the noise, noise, noise. This is the best juicer ever! Love love love it. I was a little worried because all the parts I saw on a you tube video, but it’s SOOOOOOO EASY TO CLEAN & assemble, my 5 year old great niece can do it, it’s that easy. And no sharp blades to get cut on. I LOVE IT. Great investment

Over all this is a great juicer, it works well and is easy to clean. My only issue is with the chute where the pulp comes out. It points straight out instead of down. One little piece of plastic could solve pulp from shooting out all over my kitchen when the occasional air bubble gets in there. I wish the pulp would land in the bin every time. It really makes a mess. I would consider this a design flaw.

I am juicing on and off for about 18 years. I would safely say that I know quite a lot about juicing. I have passed through two Jack La Lannes and one Champion juicer. They are all still working but found them tedious to clean and inefficient.I began juicing again last October 2014 as my wife’s arthritis pains increased and wanted to juice for her to ease her pains. I normally juice early in the morning but the noise from the Jack La Lanne was unbearable and the quality and quantity of the juice were poor. My research took me to the Omega VSJ843 and bought it one month ago. I must say that this review was not solicited. I looked for the omega site to share my observations and experiences with my Omega VSJ Juicer. The juicer is the best I ever had. The research and development team that created this juicer knew what they were doing from the start and must have done a lot of prior work talking to avid juice persons and their requirements of a quality juicer. The appearance is simple and clean. It is said that the most creative design is when simplicity takes shape. The position of the on/off button, the measurement guide on the juice container, the inert type auger material, the pipe to hold the juice are all are innovative , simple and remarkable. This is technology at its best. The operation of the device is simple and the wash up is easy and fast. All the waste go into the waste bin with very little waste in the machine. When I am juicing carrots and beet I just like to hearing that crushing noise extracting all the juice from these vegetables. It is difficult to believe that this little machine is so powerful to crush these hard vegs. The juice quality is much better and I believe I get over 20% more juice from this juicer. Further, it is very quiet at 43 rpm and I don’t wake up the neighborhood or those in my household.I was happy with just these features but then I decided to try pineapple. Pineapple does not juice well with normal high speed juicers but with the VSJ843 I got rich, clean pineapple juice with no Froth. The best I ever got , even better than the champion. If that was not enough I tried watermelon. It juiced the watermelon in a snap. I normal use the Ninja duo but had to strain twice. I still have to strain but only once. I like my juicer and recommend every one who is looking for a quality juicer to buy the vertical slow speed juicer like the VSJ843. Thanks Omega for putting so much thought into a technological marvel.

Comparing this to the Tribest slow star, I think this does a fantastic job! You should include a blank plate for smoothies too! Overall, Omega has done a great job, especially with their warranties.

Prior to purchasing my first juicer, I wanted to make sure that I invested in the best appliance for my purposes. After ALMOST “reflex” purchasing a Breville and spending marginally less for the model I was going to buy, I did a little browsing of reviews and the decision for me was easy. For me, if I’m going to put the effort and money into organic vegetables and fruits, I want the most nutrition value possible. Because of the VSJ 843’s slow speed and the process of literally squeezing the daylights out of everything, far less oxidization and much better yield of leafy greens.I’m fine with chopping and prepping for juicing. Cleanup is getting faster as I develop shortcuts, like saving my produce bags from the grocer and use as a liner for the pulp output.Right now I’m doing “Mean Green” style juicing so Kale, Cilantro, Parsley, Cucumber, Lemon, Celery, Apple & Ginger. After cutting this juicer has no problems and performs well.I have juiced carrots as a “dessert” and I did need to cut some enormous organic carrots down lengthwise, and it stopped a few times. Just a quick press of the button to reverse and done.I tend to juice about 1 liter each morning which I drink 2/3 right away (because it’s awesome) and I end up with a tall glass for later which I cover and place in the refrigerator for later. Prior to drinking the second glass, I stir it as it tends to separate into multiple layers and thus far the taste has been great and pretty much identical to the first only colder. It is expensive, however based on nutrition, reputation and warranty I found this to be the best value for me. Good Luck!

I’ve had this juicer about a year. I’m incredibly happy with it. I use it for daily celery juice. With that said there is an extra step involved in prepping the celery. You must chop it into 1/2″ pieces before juicing it because of the strings in the celery. I generally do this the night before. The big positive here is the actual juicing process is super fast. You just pour in the chopped celery or produce into the chute and it self feeds. No “baby-sitting” I have not had any trouble with things getting stuck or the juicer struggling. I also juice ginger, turmeric and oranges for immunity shots and mango banana sorbet with frozen fruit that you thaw for 10 min. The only tiny weakness on this juicer is the rubber pulp ejection stopper. I got a new one sent out by calling the customer service. They were great. Clean up is a breeze. Highly recommend this juicer 100%!

First time using the VSJ843 and we are very, very happy. Seemed like a lot of money for this equipment but it is worth every penny. If you are thinking about juicing, don’t waste you time on anything else.

Very happy with this juicer. I’ve used Centrifuges and currently was happy with a Twin Blade Greenpower for 10 years. It was time to get a new one and I have to say this new VJ Cold Press Omega is the best all around juicer I have ever had. Easy cleanup, quiet and I enjoy using it. It juices everything well. I like the option of how it allows you to keep the juice from exposed air up to 16oz before letting it out. The Juice is smooth with minimal pulp if at all (I don’t even use a screener either) & minimal foam. Extra confident about the 15 year warranty on the whole machine A+.

my videohttps://youtu.be/AyCO5MGMXmsI got this primarily for making nut and coconut milk because I had to take dairy out of my diet. So, I realized that I needed a machine specifically for nut milks because I found out I have a dairy allergy. I did a ton of research and knew I wanted to go with an Omega because of the ease of cleaning and warranty. I was not let down! These upright machines have come a long way. This is the best looking machine I have ever owned to start, make sure you have clearance to use this machine, if you only have counter space with cupboards right above, go with the omega NC800. How are you going to fit a carrot above it if it barely fits under your work area? The NC800 is shorter and wider. This juicer is really amazing for people who are new to juicing and people who have been juicing for 10 years like myself. It self feeds so you don’t have to push over and over and there are no settings to bother with. You still absolutely have to use a strainer or a nut milk bag if you prefer less pulp in your juice, but that is pretty standard. Make sure you order one so you are ready to juice. I put this juicer to the test and was amazed by the results! It gets the best soft fruit (grapefruit/orange) hard veggie and wheat grass to date!!!!!! It is very hard to find a machine that does all of these things well. The awesome thing about Omega is the 15 year warranty, it’s easy to use to! Some companies make you mail in the broken plastic pieces but with omega, you can take a picture and email it in and BOOM, they sent me a new piece! The way this machine is so easy to clean, I will include that in my video! less than 2 minutes.Pros.Juices everything with great yields!!!! almost impossible to find!Makes the best, richest nut milk (way creamier than a vitamix and a nut milk bag) It actually grinds the fat from the nuts and makes a very rich milk!Super fast cleangreat looking on counter15 year warrantyconstaller if you don’t have height space,no strainer included, good thing they are cheap!

This isn’t my first experience with Omega products and slow juicers but I had seen a few before deciding to go with Omega. The quality of Omega’s juicers is second to none, they are the Rolls Royce of juicers and the product quality is so superior. It is so refreshing to see a company build this kind of quality today and not try to cut corners, these machines are built as things were yesteryear .I will only buy Omega from this point on, absolutely fabulous! All I can add is, I hope Omega continues to build this quality, kudos to this company.

I bought the juicer about a month ago and wanted to use it for fruits/veg and wheatgrass, but the wheatgrass gets tangled in the top of the juicer and I have to stop the machine, take the top off to untangle the strands of grass. This happens every time and I have tried every way possible to feed the grass into the machine with no luck. I have cut it into tiny pieces, in half, thirds and still it does not just go through and juice. Very frustrating. Any suggestions?

I bought the Omega VSJ843QS after hours of agonizing and watching videos and reviews on various types and brands of juicers, and I am so glad I did! I had a Champion juicer for many years, and when I started an intense juicing program, realized my old champion was way out of date! It was putting a 2 inch head of foam on my celery juice, it looked like green beer! I knew it was time for a new juicer. The Omega VSJ843QS is quiet, efficient, the yield is excellent, produces almost no foam, and it has juiced everything I have thrown at it. These slow RPM juicers are like cold press juicers, so they do not oxidize the juice, so it is the healthiest juice you can make. It is so quick and easy to clean! I even juiced a whole pineapple in it (I cut it up first, of course)! All vertical juicers require more food prep on certain types of food, but the outcome is worth the extra minute to chop something up a bit first. If you buy one of these, watch John Kohler’s (discountjuicers) youtube videos for how to use properly. It will really make your experience delightful! I love my new juicer, and highly recommend it.

This is my first juicer and yes I love it. I’ve juice at least once a day in the first three weeks of ownership and it has not disappointed me. My only complaint is, it takes just as long to clean it as it does to make a single serving of juice.

I am slow juicing with your VSJ843QS since 3 weeks now and I don’t want to miss it anymore! This juicer is a fantastic product, I can do easily green leaves and grass as well… I am juicing minimum twice a day and it’s easy to clean. Bevor I had a centrifugal juicer and the result is not compare. Juicing is so much more fun and gives you a great energy boost! If I would need to by a juicer now, I would alswas go for Omega!! Thanks to Omega! 🙂
