Cleans debris up well. Easy to install on Bosch router. Best for non fancy scroll work edge. Even so, way better than no evacuation at all!

I bought this device to mount to my router table. It’s been difficult to catch much of the router shavings when routing on the table however, with the Oneida Universal Dust-free router attachment, it nearly dust free. It works better than I expected.

Have not used it yet but have installed on my Porter Cable 890 Router. Fits perfectly. Can’t wait to use it.

Good product, needs a good vaccuum to get it to work perfectly

Thanks to the Oneida router dust hood I no longer dread using my router. Collects almost all the wood chips and dust leaving little need for cleanup. Fit my Bosch router with out any problems. Home Depot also had lowest price with free shipping.

Does what it says. Router jobs usually make a mess, but this eliminated that by about 95%. Build quality was not the best, but it seems like it will last awhile under light use. Easy to assemble.

This is an affordable after-market solution for router dust collection. It works perfectly well for my Bosch 1617 router. After searching around for various alternatives, found this very affordable solution. My router was my one tool on my workshop with no dust collection, and it made a huge mess when I was using it to pocket out large areas. This hood worked perfectly in that application. I haven’t used the edge-attachments, since I usually use the router in a router table (with dust collection) for that.

works great for my woodworking

This made all the difference! I have the Dewalt cordless router. This router hood does a fantastic job of keeping dust from the air and, especially, off the floor. This is a must have accessory!

Short dust got caught on corner and buggered up. Other than that works great

I absolutely love it. I highly recommend this to anyone who does a lot of hand routing.

I just got this today and tested on my Porter Cable and old Black and Decker. This thing works great. All of the router dust collection adapters I’ve used before work pretty well except when it comes to routing rabbets. They catch some of the dust but there is still quite a bit on the floor when your done with the cut. Not so with this thing. Some dust does escape when you first start the cut but once the guide bearing contacts the work no dust escapes. I rated the quality as 3 because the chip covers are pretty flimsy and it seems like they could break easily. I don’t know if you can get replacements.

Works fine – had to secure longer screws to attach plate.

Installs easily (DeWalt) and removes dust well but makes freehand routing difficult due to decreased visibility.

Works pretty good on my Skil 1830 when using it for cavity routing. The edge chip covers don’t work as well. Would not follow around the curves of a guitar body even though they weren’t quick, sharp bends. The small one actually rotated to the inside of the router and received an enlarged opening in the cover! Would probably still work fine for straight edges and that is really where the chip covers would be used the most. Also the base plate was much smaller than my original one but did cover the entire bottom.I would recommend this for anyone that can’t find a factory unit.

This works fantastically with both my Porter & Cable and Craftsman routers! The clear plastic makes it easy to see where I am routing and the vacuum works well with my shop-vac.
