I have a new Mac Pro and Pro Display. I wanted to put all the components into a closet and only have the monitor in my work space, but the cables Apple provides are 2 meters or less, putting everything under the desk with monitor on top. Now I have a clean work space and the hard drives, Mac Pro, etc. hidden and quiet/cool in the closet.
