Every picture featured of this particular vase showed the stand–I thought it was one piece, so imagine my surprise when I opened the box and only saw the bowl/vase (hence the reason for 4 stars). Nevertheless, the bowl/vase is simply gorgeous and very sturdy. I am very happy to have this as part of my planter collection but not so thrilled at having to order the stand separately. If you are into chinoiserie decor, this is a no brainer. It is not true blue and white…more of a blue and pale gray for those who care about those little variations.
