Thanks to a polycarbonate inner shell, internal foam padding, synthetic rubber cover, and a touchscreen-compatible screen protector, the black Defender Series Case from Otterbox delivers three-layered, 360° protection for your iPad mini 4. Installation is literally a snap, as is attaching the shield stand to the front or back of the case. For typing or viewing videos, simply place the bottom edge of the Defender Case inside the shield stand and adjust the built-in support as required. Sturdy case for Ipad Pro. I like the fact that it has a hard case front cover that covers the Ipad screen when you aren’t using it. Very good extra protection for the screen. I also like that the front hard cover can be used as a stand for the tablet when you are using it. That saves buying a stand for the tablet. Only minor problem is that when you first start using the hard front cover, it is a little hard to take off and put on because it is a tight fit. However, after using it for awhile it loosens up a little bit and it gets much easier to take off and put on but it is still a nice, tight fit so that the cover won’t come off if you drop it.

If you are investing x amount of dollars into a ipad. It only makes sense to protect it. This case really makes it easy to travel without babying the ipad and with worrying over how other are handling it.It not only keeps your ipad air body safe, glass safe and dust free. It also has a built in kick stand that really saves you money from buying something else to prop it up. The only down side is that it’s not easy to take your ipad air in and out of your case. (I don’t know why you would want to, but you might). From my experience get it.

I purchased this after I recieved an iPad mini 4 for Christmas. I’m a mother of three small children, so I need a case with protection from the inevitable falls. It works great for that. However, it’s taken a few more falls because the case doesn’t nest well in the stand. I’ve had the cases for the previous iPad mini designs and they hold the device in the stand very well, and it appears like they’ve moved the tabs that use to hold the device securely. It’s also more difficult to get the device separated from the stand. The home button does allow my fingerprint to be seen, but offers less protection from damage. I’m not sure if this could be remedied, and it hasn’t caused a problem in functionality, but I don’t let my children use this particular device much. The case has recently had a few parts break, including a part of the hinge on the stand, so hopefully the warranty will be as good as I’ve heard it is. We’ll see.

This is a great case for the iPhone and just what I needed. Even when not caried in the holster, the soft rubber shell provides great handeling comfort and protection. The only problem was in trying to figure out how to get the outer rubber layer off to install the phone. Even with the help of the vidio provided on their Website, I was afraid of tearing the shell at opening points. I did eventually do it however. Somewhere along the line a couple of specks got under the plastic screen cover, but I am reluctant to reopen it just to get them out.
