Thanks to a polycarbonate inner shell, internal foam padding, synthetic rubber cover, and a touchscreen-compatible screen protector, the black Defender Series Case from Otterbox delivers three-layered, 360° protection for your iPad mini 4. Installation is literally a snap, as is attaching the shield stand to the front or back of the case. For typing or viewing videos, simply place the bottom edge of the Defender Case inside the shield stand and adjust the built-in support as required. Well-designed, the Defender Case may be used with or without its shield. Best of all, case cutouts and port plugs protect and provide access to the iPad mini’s controls and functions. My wife loves her case. Her only complaints would be the weight and it does not stand that well in the stand that also substitutes as a extra cover. The weight is a sacrifice we are willing to take to add the best protection possible. I would recommend this case to all my friends and I use otterbox cases on all my phones also.

if you are wanting total protection for your ipad pro 12.9 second generation then this is the case for you! my family only used otter box defender cases – we have never had an apple product damaged. these cases are amazing and provide the absolute best protection. i was worried that there would be some issues using the case with apple pencil – zero issues! the apple pencil completely responded with no lag time. i did make the modification of clipping off the tiny flap of rubber that covers the charging port – i do this on every otter box just to make it easier to pop a charger in.

The hard plastic case fits great. The outer rubber case has tabs for the data port, etc, but they don’t fit tights

My 11 year old son just got a new iPad Air 2. We bought him the Otter Box Defender case because is provides the best protection at a decent price. In fact, this is his 2nd Otter Box Defender case. The first one was for his 4 year old iPad Mini. Both cases are well made and hold up in all conditions. A friend of my son’s scratched the screen protector with a stylus. We called Otter Box and they happily shipped us a new one at no cost. I am impressed with both the products and the company. I highly recommend the Defender series for children and those with butter fingers.

I really love this case for my iPad mini 4. Super durable. I little on the heavy side, but that is expected with this much protection. Case is a little hard to take apart once the iPad is in it. Overall, this case is exactly what I needed and wouldn’t trust my iPad in anything else.

Absolutely AMAZING products! I originally purchased a case for my sons 1st gen iPad mini, fearing the screen getting broken. (He’d accidentally dropped mine before getting his own, smaller iPad.) It worked so well, and the warranty policy was so great, that I bought one for myself for my iPad 3. My son is older now and needed more space so I upgraded his iPad to the mini 4. As a result, I needed to get a new case. It was a purchase I was happy to make. They really stand by their products! And the staff are the happiest, most pleasant customer service you will EVER have the pleasure of speaking with! 🙂 I have since upgraded my iPad and have a new case for that as well as for my Samsung G5. This is exactly what I was looking for! I have two todlers in my house and I needed something to protect my (very expensive) ipad. You can tell once you put it on, it will do its job. This case does make the ipad a bit heavy, but it is expected. My only two complaints are the outer case and the color of the case. The outer case is perfect for holding the ipad up and to type, but it is a bit tedious to remove it everytime i want to use the camera. I wish the outer case had a hole for the camara so I could use it easily and actually put it on the ipad when i take it out. My other complaint is the colors this case comes in. Come on! It’s so unfair that the cases for the ipad air come in all sets of different colors and all we get is black and blind your eyes fuscia. If these two things don’t bother you than this is the case for you. Its sturdy and perfect to protect your device from any falls or accidents

This case is great, only thing that I don’t like is plastic screen protector. It’s very thin, I am not sure is that good for protect screen, I already have screen protector, which is much stronger and better. And you cant remove this plastic screen protector from the rest of the case, maybe to cut off or someting. In this moment I have both, but touch is not reacting good, so I need to remove one of them, not sure how to remove this one with the case. Rest of the case is extremly strong and well protect. It’s very expensive for the case, so this should be much better
