Thanks to a polycarbonate inner shell, internal foam padding, synthetic rubber cover, and a touchscreen-compatible screen protector, the black Defender Series Case from Otterbox delivers three-layered, 360° protection for your iPad mini 4. Installation is literally a snap, as is attaching the shield stand to the front or back of the case. For typing or viewing videos, simply place the bottom edge of the Defender Case inside the shield stand and adjust the built-in support as required. Well-designed, the Defender Case may be used with or without its shield. Best of all, case cutouts and port plugs protect and provide access to the iPad mini’s controls and functions. Otterbox protects your device like nothing else. While it’s a bit bulky you can be sure that your device is safe. Several years ago I dropped a IPad Mini down a flight of steps and landed on a tile floor… my iPad was safe and sound. I have them on my iPhone as well and I beat the heck out of that and it too is always safe. As always, B&H is great to deal with!!

Had to get a case for my new iPad Air I got for Christmas. Started to look at the Apple Smart Case but the reviews mostly said it would stand on its own. So when I got a B&H email promoting this case and already having an Otter Box case for my iPhone 5s that I really like, I had to research it. It looked good and the built in stand in the cover was just what I was looking for. After finally getting my hands on it I started the assembly process. The protective case was a challenge installing to say the least. Trying to keep dust out while putting the case over my iPad was a trial in frustration. Once the case is on, it’s a bear to get off. I had to put it on and off several times while using a lens blower and a lint free rag to make sure I had no dust under the cover. Once I got it all together the worst part was over. It fits like a glove and feels very purposeful. It really didn’t add as much bulk as I would have expected. The outer rubber case really gives a feeling of secure protection. The best part is the removable cover. There’s an ingenious built in stand that folds up to prop up your iPad in four different positions and down to install the cover. This definitely the best purchase decision I could have made. Very pleased with my Otter Box iPad cover.

Bought this for my autistic sons ipad 2 years ago. In that time he has angrily thrown his ipad as hard as he could countless times. His ipad in this case has taken this beating without missing a beat. I cannot believe it still works flawlessly and i can only ascribe this to this case

For me it has it all The Galaxy S4 has out done itself and has exceeded my expectations. It’s fast and reliable from calls and texts to social networking and especially the camera. The specs and applications are very helpful as well as useful. All in all if you are looking for a multitasking and flexible piece of high-tech smartphone, this is it.

The Otterbox defender case is an amazing case to protect your iPad.It was a bit pricy, but I get peace of mind if I drop it! It also includes a screen protector, so everything is very protected! I have been in that situations that my iPad dropped out of an cover and totally broke. That will not happen with this Otterbox! I have been a fan of OtterBox since purchasing my first iPhone four years ago. When I received an iPad as a Christmas gift from my boss, there was no doubt that I would protect it with an OtterBox. If you are as clumsy as I am, you would be smart to protect your phone and/or tablet with an OtterBox. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed! To clean the OtterBox, a rep at the store for my cell phone carrier suggested removing the entire case and cleaning it with just a dry cotton ball. Yes, it works!

The case is nice but unlike life proof case it is not water or dust resistant. It’s a case to protect the screen from scratches. So you buy cheaper ones to do that. It has a stand but I don’t use it much. I suppose you might use it if you have a separate keyboard.

I bought two of these for my new ipad mini 4’s however when I went to apply them to the product the case does not line up to volume buttons correctly. The rest of the case is seamless and fits perfectly however the volume down button stays pressed and only a portion of the volume up button is exposed. I am assuming this is a defective product because I have never had this issue with Otterbox in the past. The case still provides protection as advertised and is very sturdy. Able to stand up against the trials of a 5 year old and a 2 year old which is saying a lot.
