Little heavy for a lot of people especially my 84 year old mom. The charging port is hard for her to install or remove charging cable. We had to take off hard plastic stand. I am confident when she drops iPad it will survive the drop. I would not buy this again for elderly person but I would buy for myself in a heartbeat Before COVID I would be able to exchange for different cover

Good, sound housing with grippable rubber exterior gives me great confidence in this products ability to protect my phone. The only downside to this case is the clear plastic frontage which sometimes causes a rash of incorrect key strokes and also gathers dust betwixt phone and underside of clear window. But that is a minor complaint and easily remedied by periodically cleaning it out by hand.

I have not only bought 1 but 2 iPad mini 4 otter boxes and neither one will fit my mini 4. The buttons do not match up. At first I thought I bought the wrong case, could not return it as I threw the box and stuff away before I put it on. Bought a second one the I knew for sure said iPad mini 4, and same thing….does not match up. I’m at a loss.

Bought this for my grandson, who inherited my iPad 2 when I upgraded. Perfect for any child who uses the iPad–a small price to pay to protect an expensive piece of equipment. Though he handles the iPad with reasonable care, the Defender minimizes the chance of damage. Unlike some iPad cases for kids, which may be more be more eye catching, the Defender does not remove or interfere with any function of the iPad. No need to take the iPad out of the case to charge, adjust volume, or to use any other feature. The Defender wins hands down for function.

I’ve had the otter box now just over 3 weeks. I got it because use my iPad for work. I take it into some heavy industrial places periodically and its held up extremely well so far. It is a little thick when you have the stand clipped to it, but it’s not bad at all. It does become slim again when you take off the stand. As for the clear circle in the back, it’s solid. Thank God because I was worried that it was literally a while leaving the back of the iPad exposed and it doesn’t. It’s easy to assemble and doesn’t cut off the edges on your screen. I’ve had experiences in the past with cases not giving you full access to the screen. As of now, I would say I definitely got my moneys worth.

Man, this thing is expensive. But you get what you pay for. And what you’re paying for is a nearly bulletproof suit of armor for your pricey iPad 2. Fit and finish tolerances are razor sharp close. Screen protector is awesome. Excellent stand and cover assembly.
