If you’re thinking of defending your 9.7" iPad Pro from much of what life has to throw at it, then it may be worth considering a black Defender Series Case from Otterbox. This case features a two-piece polycarbonate inner shell surrounded by a synthetic rubber outer layer for additional shock protection against drops, bumps, and scratches.
Attached to the outer rubber layer are port plugs that help guard against dust. A clear polyurethane screen protector is built into the inner shell to help shield your touchscreen against scratches, scrapes, and scuffs, without diminishing the display’s visibility. Internal foam cushions the back of the tablet while keeping it from moving around inside the case.
The included shield stand snaps onto the front of the case for added touchscreen protection during transport. When not needed for protection, it may be snapped onto the back of the case. The inside of the shield stand has a built-in foldaway stand for viewing movies or typing, functioning in both portrait and landscape modes. There’s also built-in storage for an optional Apple Pencil.

The Otter Defender case is the ONLY case that I buy for my husband. He’s not a TOUGH GUY, but rather a ROUGH GUY, He doesn’t mean to be, BUT,…..in his line of work, he needs all the help he can get. And the OTTER DEFENDER CASE gives him that. When you spend $500.00 to $800.00 for a cell phone, the OTTER is the way to go.

I am really happy with this case for my iPad pro. Best case you can buy for the money. It is really responsive and works well with the Apple pencil. I highly recommend this case. The nice thing there is a spot for the Apple pencil to be stored.

I bought this for my 4th generation iPad Pro 12.9″ and fits perfectly. I have yet to drop my iPad but I am less worried about being careful all the time since this is attached to my iPad because of my 3 young children. I use an OtterBox cases on all my iPhones and IPads, and after several years of drops, throws, slams, drools, chews, kicks, etc my phone and Ipad has come out 100% unscathed

The Otterbox Defender is a great case. The case fits the iPhone perfectly and was simple to attach. I now feel much more comfortable carrying my phone around knowing a small bump or jolt is not going to destroy the phone. The holster is easy to use and grips the phone securely. The stand up function has come in handy for using the phone to show videos to my toddler.

I have yet to have a problem with Otterbox cases. The defender case for the IPad is great although it makes my IPad a bit heavy. This is something I can live with knowing my $650 device is proctected. Great deal from B&H for the case it is about 20 more at @

Purchased another brand first, returned same day. The defender in compareson is by far a better product. The defender screen fits perfectly, and installing was so much easier than the first one I bought. Plus you know if it’s dropped it’s going to survive . I also have a defender for my iPhone, I’ve had to replace the silicon cover because I’m so hard ruff with it, but it has never failed me!

If you want maximum protection for your device this is the way to go. The case looks great and fits like a glove. The only complaints that I have are it’s bulky and the power / rocker buttons are a little stiff … but overall I really like it.

Yep, worth every penny of the cost and has saved my iPad and iPhone multiple times! Does exactly what it is supposed to do – save your device from cracked screens and broken equipment. How about this for a statistic: I have owned four iPhones and three iPad Minis over the past 10 years. All had Otterbox Defender cases on them from day one… NEVER have I cracked let alone scratched my devices and have only replaced the devices due to processing power, nothing else. THESE CASES SAVE YOU MONEY!!!

I finally stepped into the 21 Century and purchased an Iphone 4S. I love it! It will need to last me for at least two year–since that my new contract. I wanted to buy a case that would withstand ANYTHING. The customer service rep suggested two Otter Box case but one would definitely protect against almost anything …even a 23 foot drop out of a wind. So I went with Pink and Plum durable Otter Box cover and I am in love. At first it appears to be a little bulky but once it hits your hand you will love the casing and the feel. Get this product!

This case has worked out well for me so far. It has allowed my 6+ to survive two minor drops so far, with no damage to my phone or the case. But; it does have some what might be called flaws! You have to tap the keys a little more direct, and slightly harder. In your phone, when trying to use the directory/contacts list; you can not use the letter scale on the side bar! The large/wide case frame is too close to the letter’s on the sidebar, and it will not respond to your touch, or tapping! Also; the pull down cover for the charging port interfear’s with putting the charging tip into the port on the phone. If you are not watching carefully, and very careful with exactly where you are placing the charging cords tip: you’ll place it between the back cover of the phone case, and the back inside cover of the Defender case, marring the finish of the phones case. To say nothing of the fact that the phone will not be charging. (Yes the phone does respond with a tone when properly connected to the charging cord.) But, I would think there possibly could be a hazard with an electrical cord plugged in, and touching the metal case of the iPhone when not put into the charging port properly? Also, the Defender case is rather large and bulky. And when used with the plastic snap in belt clip: very bulky & rather heavy. But again: you should have known this before your purchase? If you had a chance to see and handle a Defender case beforehand. Even with all it’s annoying flaw’s; the Defender case has served me well. Seems like nothing is ever perfect in this world. Would I recommend it to a friend? Only if they were aware of all it’s flaw’s, and could live with all of them?
