If you’re thinking of defending your 9.7" iPad Pro from much of what life has to throw at it, then it may be worth considering a black Defender Series Case from Otterbox. This case features a two-piece polycarbonate inner shell surrounded by a synthetic rubber outer layer for additional shock protection against drops, bumps, and scratches.
Attached to the outer rubber layer are port plugs that help guard against dust. A clear polyurethane screen protector is built into the inner shell to help shield your touchscreen against scratches, scrapes, and scuffs, without diminishing the display’s visibility. Internal foam cushions the back of the tablet while keeping it from moving around inside the case.
The included shield stand snaps onto the front of the case for added touchscreen protection during transport. When not needed for protection, it may be snapped onto the back of the case. The inside of the shield stand has a built-in foldaway stand for viewing movies or typing, functioning in both portrait and landscape modes. There’s also built-in storage for an optional Apple Pencil.

Good level of service before during and after clicking the commit order button. order arrived on time and in good condition. The phone fits a little tighter into her purse now, but the protection is worth it.

I may have missed the significance of the word defender. This Otterbox is hugely clunky – thick and ugly. Makes my beautiful new Samsung feel ugly. Very sorry I bought this product. More or better graphics on the website might have warned me that I was buying a brick of a case and thereby losing the elegance of the phone itself… On the other hand – perfect if you need very, very serious protection – like on a building site or something…

wish it was better. the case only comes in black and i have three kids hard to keep them with correct kid. the out side plastic cover comes off the frame piece so I am worried about it not protecting the Ipad’s .

Well built excellent fitting case. I have not dropped or traumatized my iPad Pro yet but this case has given me peace of mind and transformed my iPad into a piece of road worthy gear. I am not sure if it will work with the smart keyboard cover.

Position your iPhone for click-in very precisely otherwise it does not snap in properly and might fall out. Snapping-in your iPhone screen facing towards you, the frame pushes the volume buttons and put your phone to silence. You might miss important calls! Wandering this wasn’t figured out before getting this device to the market.
