I love the simplicity of the case…it functions like a phone case…no cover to flip or get in the way. However I find that the button placements are ‘off’ making it difficult to use the sleep button on top and impossible to use the volume controls. The position of these needs a slight recalibration. Otherwise it works as I had hoped. Thank you.

i always use clear cases for my cellphones and this is a no brainer since i bought it for a discounted price. would highly recommend it if you want to show the color of your phone and offering good protection

No matter the phone I have, I always get an otterbox because I am famous for flinging my phone around inadvertently. As usual, this one lives up to the hype (as proven by my immediately dropping the phone as soon as it had been set up…). It’s definitely worth the extra cost, and with B&H sometimes you get a deal on the case which is never a bad thing!

I brought this case together with the iPad mini 1 year ago. The push buttons are tough, but my headphone has volume control and the magnetic cover override the screen on/off button. Screen capture is a real problem. Then I acquired an Apple Pencil last week and almost lost it. The plastic holding the pen loop cracked.

Pros: Good grip, comfortable, sturdy, and very secure but easy enough to put on or remove. Photo/Video Users: Black cases make the phone REALLY hot in warm weather. I’m guilty of this mistake, many times over. I’ve had iPhone footage drop frames, add crazy heat noise, and even crash the phone across many models. When I remove the case, I get better results. However, if you have a colorful or white phone, it’s nice to have a black cover in your pack in case you need to disguise the phone for reflections, or as a negative fill when photographing close subjects.
