There is a 100% problem with OWC memory and I will explain why: 1. I purchased the my iMac and memory together from B&H, I used the iMac for 10 days without a glitch. 2. I installed OWC memory, and the computer started crushing. 3. I went ahead and decided it doesn’t worth troubleshooting, so just replaced the iMac from BH to a new iMac. 4. Same thing – run it for over 3 weeks with the original memory with no glitches – after installing OWC memory, crushing started again. 5. few days later, after updating my os, the computer wouldn’t even get back to life – so I had to get it serviced at the apple store (before doing that I replaced the memory back to apple’s genuine memory). 6. Apple confirmed there are no hardware issue to the iMac. 7. I re-run my iMac for another month with Apple’s memory – again 0 glitches. 8. Contacted OWC to get a replacement memory. 9. After installing the new memory received from OWC, problems started to rise again – takes longer to wake up from sleep, wifi doesn’t work after computer wake up (I have to disable and re-enable wifi). Not Recommended

Product works as expected. Very easy to install. Been under heavy use daily for almost two weeks and has had no problems. Applications open faster, and performance is better when multiple apps are open simultaneously. No complains whatsoever.

Received late 2015 5k iMac the same day as the memory. Installed the memory and it was recognized so I thought nothing of it. Exporting and working with files in davinci resolve 12 kept hard crashing my iMac so I thought something was wrong with the computer itself. Before I contact apple I just happen to put my factory 8 gigs back in and everything works as it should. Too much of a guessing game to figure which stick is bad so I’m sending them all back. The iMac kept freezing during diagnostic with those sticks in trying to figure which one was bad. Mine was the 32 gig but I’m sure it’s what the above comments are experiencing as well.

This 32 GB of memory kit was for my brand new IMAC 27 Retina computer which came with onlyi 8 GB of memory. The cost of 32 GB from Apple was considerably higher than OWC. Installed the 4 chips in less than 2 minutes. The IMAC instantly recognized the new memory and is working perfectly.

I have had OWC send me multiple 16gb dimm replacements, but the result is always the same, unstable machine. How can OWC and B&H photo sell these to the professional crowd who demand stability? Stick with 8gb dimm’s per slot and you should be good

The perfect way to boost performance. I went from 8gb to 32 in about 5 minutes, and most of that was clearing off a place where I could put the computer. Simple, straightforward at a good price.

I replaced the two 4G Dimm in my 2015 iMac. It was easy and the memory upgrade has made a difference.

I purchased 4 sticks instead of buying the bundle pack to save a few bucks. Installed in a brand new iMac and my computer kept hard crashing in davinci resolve. I thought it might have been the computer but come to find out one or more of these sticks were bad. Re ordered the bundle pack and all is working now.

For a while I was completely unaware that I could easily upgrade the ram on my iMac. Found out what I needed, ordered this product and everything is running much better now that I have 24gb If youre combining these cards with existing ram place the new ram in the slots that are being used by the old and move the old ram to the spots that are not being used.

I had the same experience as the other reviewers. The Imac froze over and over after installing this ram. after reverting back to factory 8gb, had no more issues. Stay away from this product.

I put them in a Late 2015 iMac Retina 5K, replacing a 2 x 4GB Apple original kit, along with Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB Kit (8GBx2), getting 32 GB of RAM. They work fine with no issue at all. Greate value.

The OWC Memory Kit, which boosted the RAM in my iMac considerably, was very easy to install. Thus far, I have had no problems with the change, but my computer is running like new again.

Installed and worked as expected. Reliability would be the only thing that I would not know util some time has transpired. Seems to work fine.
