The RAM works just fine. I removed the old sticks so the new kit works in dual channel at 2666 Mhz. If you keep the original 8GB you will have to be in single channel, or lower speed.

Well done OWC for offering a 2 piece 64Gb solution for the latest iMac. I will upgrade to 128Gb when Adobe’s continued memory bloat requires it. For the moment 64Gb is an awesome upgrade from 32Gb on my late 2013 Core i7 iMac.

Like most people here, I decided to buy a 3rd party RAM instead of making the purchase directly from Apple. B&H delivered on time and I was more than happy to install these babies on my newly purchased iMac. One or two apps became sluggish post installation so I simply switched the installation slots and that did the trick. I’d definitely recommend it.

I am pretty happy. I put the memory into a newly purchased iMac. Got the instructions from Apple’s website (recommend you do before purchase). Fairly easy if you have some basic experience. Obviously, the part cost much less than buying an iMac with it pre-installed.

So far this memory is work as it suppose to. It took me all of five minutes to install very easy process Just remember to install them together not between any other memory that may be in your computer.If they all are the same GB then it should not matter..
