I had 8GB of ram and this upgrade was so easy and way less than getting it through Apple. The ram functions great and as it should.

I added this memory to a new iMac. The additional memory was recognized immediately and has performed flawlessly. I would highly recommend OWC as your memory upgrade of choice.

Went to 8GB to 24GB. Worked flawlessly and easy to install, after two weeks have had no kernel panics and the computer is much more responsive.

My order was processed and delivered in a matter of days despite the pandemic work slow down. The memory card is fantastic! Easy to install and works as stated in the description online. Would buy again.

I had 4 sticks of ram installed on my new iMac, converting it into a quicker than quick device. Fine product from OWC, installed and delivered by B&H Photo!

Bought this computer with 8GB RAM for my video/photo editing, and upgraded with these for cheaper than the Apple cost, and oh man did it change things fast. So happy the RAM isn’t soldered into these machines. I added these to the 8GB cards already in there to total 72 and it seems to work fine. (I saw that question a lot and also wondered). When installing make sure to press them firmly into place or the door won’t close the right way! 🙂 I love B&H. Shipping is always on point too.

All iMacs come with 8gb of ram which is lot enough in 2022. I purchased OWC ram. I was very easy to install. Everything is working great at full 2667 speed. I don’t have to deal with swap memory. I highly recommend purchasing to increase iMac speed.

Properly working as a 2667 MHz dual channel memory on iMac (2020). However, when the RAM is intended to use along with an existing original set of 8GB memory (4GB X 2) as two sets of dual channel memory, the clock speed somehow drops to 2133 MHz. It seems there are three options to choose. 1) Use only OWC RAM installed on 1 -3 or 2-4 slot: works as a dual channel memory with 2667MHz. 2) Apple RAM (1-2 slot) & OWC (3-4 slot): works as 2667MHz memory but must give up dual channel. 3) Apple RAM (1-3) & OWC (2-4): works as dual channel but clock speed becomes 2133MHz instead of 2667MHz. Giving up dual channel memory makes Mac slowdown even though it works as 2667MHz memory. I have no idea how the clock speed goes when the same 4 identical OWC RAM are installed in all slots, but I guess this issue is not because of an OWC memory malfunction but a problem with the Intel chip on 2020 iMac itself.

Very happy Easy to install And immediately say an improvement in speed

Well done OWC for offering a 2 piece 64Gb solution for the latest iMac. I will upgrade to 128Gb when Adobe’s continued memory bloat requires it. For the moment 64Gb is an awesome upgrade from 32Gb on my late 2013 Core i7 iMac.

Worked immediately after installation, no problems. Extremely helpful and clear instructions on OWC internet site. Computer showed 32 GB right away.

I am pretty happy. I put the memory into a newly purchased iMac. Got the instructions from Apple’s website (recommend you do before purchase). Fairly easy if you have some basic experience. Obviously, the part cost much less than buying an iMac with it pre-installed.

Apple’s price to go to 64gb when ordering an iMac is, arguably, obscene. The RAM sticks are easy to install and the cost of an upgrade from 8GB to 64GB is a fraction of the cost Apple charges. No difference in performance and it does not void the warranty.
Jett Rippin (verified owner) –
Installation took about 3 o 4 minutes. Not one problem. Now my iMac runs much faster.
Estella Abernathy (verified owner) –
Added it to my iMac right after unboxing, came up super smooth and haven’t had a single issue. OWC makes a great product and the Payboo offering from B&H saved me another 10%, thanks guys, you rock

I ordered two 32gig sticks. They installed easily, (youtube video) and the computer is running great. I believe this noticeably improved premier pro performance.

I purchased this ram as an upgrade to my 2020 10-Core i9 iMac in October. My computer has crashed multiple times a day since then. At first, I thought it was an incompatibility with Big Sur and some drivers. However, installing Catalina did not resolve the issue. Resetting the SMS also did not work. I eventually came across a thread on Reddit with individuals describing the exact same issue with the same-component iMac. Two solutions were presented: 1) Replace the RAM with MICRON branded RAM or 2) Remove to of the stick to leave 64GB in the system. Right now, I have selected the second solution, which has resolved the crashing issue. However, it is extremely frustrating that I only can use half the RAM I purchased.

Lots less expensive that ordering an iMac loaded up with Apple RAM. These work great!
