Well done OWC for offering a 2 piece 64Gb solution for the latest iMac. I will upgrade to 128Gb when Adobe’s continued memory bloat requires it. For the moment 64Gb is an awesome upgrade from 32Gb on my late 2013 Core i7 iMac.

The memory upgrade was installed on a new 27 inch iMac on January 2021. The original iMac memory was removed and discarded before installing the new OWC memory. The machine is used every day all day long and is performing very well. I feel the upgrade was worth the money and time. OWC has an installation video for the memory upgrade and they are easy to contact for advice. If you prep and take your time, the upgrade will take you about 15 minutes.

When I got my iMac several months ago I was very happy with 8gb of RAM. At least I thought I was. I started using Photoshop in new ways and it was using more RAM. And using the hard drive in my iMac. So, I ordered 32GB in two 16GB sticks. What a difference. Everything seems to be running faster. I’ve yet to use 50% of the RAM I have and I’ve have yet to use the HD for anything relating to Photoshop.

So far it works just fine, and was a lot less money then paying for Apple to install memory on my new IMac …. A little bit of advice … pair the cards together when installing so the Imac can read compute the proper power …
