I ordered OW85MP3W4M08 8GHz of RAM consisting of two 4 GHz boards from B&H Photo-Video-Pro Audio. The order consisted of two 4 GHz boards. I received 8 GHz consisting of two 4 GHz board, but that is where the similarity ends. The boards I received look nothing like those I ordered. The RAM I ordered was to operate at 1066 MHz, but those I received, OWC1333D3ECC4GB, indicates they operate at 1333 MHz. Who is in error is equally baffling. I ordered from B&H. The item I received came from B&H. The item is marked with the OWC logo, and some of the numbers start with OWC. Research shows that OWC stands for Other World Computing, however the carton states that the OWC logo is the trademark of New Concepts Development Corp. When I requested an RMA & refund, B&H referred to their vender, without naming same, who apparently said that I received two 4 GB of RAM for a total of 8 GB which is what I ordered. B&H refused to issue and RMA, neither would they refund my payment. (Add an Image doesn’t appear to work or I would include a picture of the item I received so it could be compared to the item above.) B&H has the picture, so you know the difference.

The information on the B+H site did not help in determining if this was compatible with my computer. It wasn’t! Should not have bought it here. I wound up buying the right one elsewhere. I hope they fix this!
