Everything went smoothly. Just be careful when applying the adhesive, but not a worry really. Not all iMac models need the thermal sensor adapter but if yours does, this is a perfect solution.Without the sensor I had been using software to silence the fans before but the trouble with that is you have to reinstall the software whenever you reinstall the OS (which is something I do often).

I used this strip/adhesive and after a week my Imac 27k screen fell off, clearly this adhesive is NOT a good one, i make sure i proper installed, following the instructions, the repair was a successfully in the beginning, but now its all MESSED UP due a CHEAP adhesive!
