For improving performance and capacity, OWC includes a cable adapter that converts your iMac’s connector to support virtually all third-party SATA-based hard drives and SSDs. In addition, the adapter features a thermal sensor for properly maintaining the drive’s temperature through your system’s cooling management controller.
