The OWC / Other World Computing Hard Drive Bracket features a mounting screw pattern that supports nearly all types of 3.5″ drives so you can utilize the newest drive in your Mac Pro. You mount your drive to the bracket with the included screws and then install it inside your Mac. Got 4 of these with 3.5″ HDDs mounted to each and installed in a 2010 Mac Pro

It doesn’t fit as well as the original bracket, as it sticks out slightly so I have to force the computer cover slightly to get it to latch onto the computer frame.

Like many others on here, I bought 8TB drives which would not work well with the current brackets supplied with my Mac Pro (early 2009). This new bracket works very well and now the 8TB drives are secure.

This part was as described. No bay number listed, which was fine.

Great product so far, very close to the original mac pro sled. Perfect for installation of newer high capacity drives that have the alternative screw mounting spacing. Has rubber or plastic washers like the original mac ones, although they don’t seem as pliable/vibration absorbing, but maybe they are just very new and stiff.

Just like an original apple product.

I too bought a 8TB drive. The holes dont line up with the sled which case with my mac pro 2009. This sled does the trick.

Bought an 8tb drive for my Mac Pro and needed the extra screw holes. Worked perfectly.
