Keep your edge with the Aura Pro 6G 250GB Solid-State Drive and Envoy Upgrade Kit from OWC / Other World Computing. Designed for installation in 13″ and 11″ MacBook Air (June 2012) laptops, this external flash/SSD drive upgrade features a SATA 6 Gb/s interface and a custom blade form factor. The drive uses 3D TLC NAND flash memory with SLC caching to deliver sustained data read and write speeds of up to 530 and 495 MB/s respectively, up to 27% faster than the factory-installed drives. It is calibrated to consume 2.1W during operation and to run cool, which helps lengthen the battery life for your MacBook Air. This SSD includes an Envoy Enclosure and tools for installation.
