Up your laptop’s storage and speed with the 1TB Aura N2 M.2 SSD for Select 2013 and Later Macs from OWC. Designed specifically for select Mac laptops, this 1TB SSD features a custom blade M.2 form factor and utilizes the PCIe 3.1 x4 interface. This design results in read and write speeds up to 2382 and 1732 MB/s. Error-correcting code (ECC) ensures this drive prevents data errors before they cause issues, while 7% overprovisioning allows this drive to execute background optimizations for performance gains. The OWC Aura N2 uses a Silicon Motion SM2263XT controller and QLC V-NAND memory technology and supports standard S.M.A.R.T. and TRIM functionality.
This drive is compatible with the following Mac laptops: MacBook Pro 15″ Mid 2015, 2014, and 2013; MacBook Pro 13″ Early 2015, 2014, and 2013; and MacBook Air 13″ Mid 2017, Early 2015, Early 2014, and Mid 2013. It is also compatible with the Accelsior 1A Apple Factory SSD PCIe adapter card. Furthermore, this drive can be installed in the Mac mini Late 2014 model, the Macmini7.1, using additional tools and hardware, available separately.

Great option for a larger NVME for Mac!

My Mac was just barely usable before. Now it’s wide awake! Installation was very straightforward. The supplied tools worked great. Formatting the new drive is a little tricky-Apple’s online disk utility didn’t work for me. But I was able to use an old hard drive for the installation.
