Utilizing QLC 3D NAND memory, this drive is optimized for use with the Mac mini and supports S.M.A.R.T. and TRIM functions. A mean time between failures (MTBF) of 1.5 million hours ensures your drive holds up to daily use. Installation hardware and tools are included. Compatible operating systems include macOS 10.13 and later.

My Mac was just barely usable before. Now it’s wide awake! Installation was very straightforward. The supplied tools worked great. Formatting the new drive is a little tricky-Apple’s online disk utility didn’t work for me. But I was able to use an old hard drive for the installation.
