Oxo makes some excellent products and this is my first stove top tea kettle from them. If you drink tea daily like myself, and also live with a family that also drinks tea regularly, then you are going to want a larger kettle like this one for the 8.4 cup water capacity. Especially if you drink 12 oz mug sizes like my family. That being said, this is a lovely looking kettle with the brushed stainless steel. A simple but efficient design.

It is made of very good quality stainless steel so I know it will last for a very long time yet it is not too heavy to handle. Cleaning this tea kettle is very easy too. I would definitely recommend this product.

I received my Good Grips Click-Click 8.4-Cup Brushed Stainless Steel Tea Kettle. It was packaged very good so there was no damage. I opened the box & took the tea pot out & washed it with soap & water. I then put about a quart of water in it & put it on our gas stove on medium heat. After a short while it started to whistle pretty loud. I then turned the stove off & removed it to make a cup of tea. The handle was a little warm, but not warm enough to burn me. It seems to work good. It also looks nice with the brushed stainless steel finish.

The Tea kettle (OXO Brew) is light weight and easy to handle. The spout has a top button to open and another under the handle to close. It is very ergonomic to use, especially to open and close when pouring hot water. The kettle is easy to clean due to its construction of stainless steel. The kettle is relatively small considering the amount of water it can hold. User must use a medium heat and if using a gas stove the flame should not go past the outside bottom when heating.

Preparing a cup of tea is easy with the OXO Good Grips Click Click Kettle. Just pull the trigger to click the spout open and press the button down to click the spout closed. The spout stays in the open position for safe and precise pouring. As a stove-top tea kettle, the OXO is fully functional and fairly sturdy. The 2.1 quart capacity is ideal, although it is a bit heavy when full. The whistle is loud and can be heard throughout my home. You must not turn the heat up too high beneath the kettle though. The handle becomes hot be careful. The kettle can be filled from the spout or the removable top cover below the handle. Stainless steel construction will give years of trouble free service. Made in Canada from quality material.

Well constructed. Easy to clean. Sharp looking. No assembly required out of the box. This tea kettle is a great addition to any kitchen. It has a more non traditional look that goes well sitting among other modern stainless appliances. It’s shape allows for rather quick boil of water and it is very easy to clean off if oil or anything else splatters on it.

The OXO click-click tea kettle is modern and attractive on the stove top and seems well made. The brushed finish and shape are an update over the more rounded squat tea kettles of the past. The cheerful whistle lets you know when the water is boiling, no continued looking and wondering if boiling is at hand. The click-click method of opening and closing is easy to use, once open it stays open. There is no need to continue to hold it open with one finger while pouring. An easy push of the thumb, while still holding it, closes it. Perhaps this is common to all tea kettles of this type but I am a little concerned that there are several warnings – to use only medium heat, do not use a burner larger than the kettle and if run dry to throw it away.

This is probably the best tea kettle ever made! I am a huge fan of the brand and this tea kettle is nothing but the best quality. I have been using another brand for years, and was completely impressed by this kettle. The capacity is more than enough for my family of four, along with entertaining other couples. We make pour over coffee every morning with the tea kettle. The kettle fills up nicely and has the best thumb / pointer finger operated spout. The spout can be set to remain in the open position, which is great!! I would strongly recommend!!

This teapot is attractive, easy to operate and keep clean and looks great. We needed to replace our older OXO teapot and this was about as close a look alike to our old one as we could find. We like the way it looks with our stove, backsplash and cabinets. I personally like the handle. It’s easy for me to pick up because it is balanced well and is made to be non-slip. I like the way the spout opens with the lever control. Our previous model was the type that when you picked it up by the handle the spout opened. This lever controlled spout is an improvement (safety-wise) over that to me. I hope you find this helpful.
