I was looking for an extra set of food containers and saw these glass ones. They come in different sizes which is great. The lids that come with them are amazing with the way they close and seals everything in very tight. I was able to use these in the freezer and then heat them in the oven minus the lids. I have also used them in the microwave with no problem. They are also very easy to clean.

I was first impressed on the packaging. It was neatly organized in order to maintain minimal damage during shipping. I am a little disappointed there wasn’t a vent valve for warming up in the microwave, but not a big deal. I was happy on how clear the glass was, no bubbles. The top of the bowls that come in contact with the rubber seals are rounded, so I’m hoping as further use I won’t see breakage like I do on other versions I own. So far, the testing of move food from the refrigerator to the oven or microwave has gone exceptionally well with no issues. I find the “nesting” ability with the glass bowls convenient for space in my cabinet. But the covers still float around. The rubber seal on the covers are large a lot easier to remove than others I own. Normally I would need to use some sort of object to help remove the rubber seal for cleaning. On these rubber seal I can remove it with my hands without help. The lids do provide a leak proof fit but would be difficult to operate for older or the very young. All in all, a great set of containers. well made, great function, good nesting for storage.

These containers are a great variety of sizes, are sturdy and seal very well. They were packaged well and were delivered, undamaged, more quickly than anticipated. I will probably buy an additional set later. Great buy!

You can use in in microwave , Very good quality, very thick glass and love that the green grips are removable so I can wash and prevent food from from spilling, Easy to clean and its nice air tight container with keeps the food fresh. Over Engineered Lids Provide A Watertight Seal This set has a mix of small and large containers with lids for them all. The small containers are perfect for storing a little cut fruit or a condiment. The largest container can easily store the leftovers from dinner.The containers are all made with a heavy duty clear plastic that should provide several years of good service under normal conditions. They also nest nicely within each other for storage. I wish the set came with a couple more of the large and medium sized containers though.The lids on these containers are, if anything, over engineered. They snap on tightly on all four sides, and there is a silicone gasket in the lid that keeps the seal water tight. As long as the lids stay snapped down, there’s not much chance of leakage. This makes them good for use in a backpack to send lunch to school with the kids. However, the lids are my biggest problem with this container set. They do not nest, or store conveniently like the containers themselves. They have silicone gaskets that can be removed for cleaning but might also be lost or damaged. They also have snaps on all four sides to securely lock them down and this makes them a lot bigger and heavier than I think they need to be. The snaps rely on a flexible piece of plastic for a hinge, and that is going to eventually limit their lifespan as they will eventually break after repeated flexing.Overall, this is a sturdy set of containers that provide an amazing seal for the contents of the container and sometimes you just need a container that will keep the contents inside. However, I’m not sure I’d buy another set before I looked at something with a simpler style of lid for day to day use.

The OXO 16 Piece Snap Glass Container Set includes four rectangular glass containers and four round containers, with matching snap lids. Containers of the same shape can be nested. The glass itself is BPA-free borosilicate, which is better for your health and durable enough to withstand temperature extremes, such as from freezer to oven or microwave. (However, do NOT pour hot liquids into a frozen container or vice versa.) Each plastic top has four tab locks and a gasket which can be removed for thorough cleaning. I have used my containers to store and transport diced watermelon without any leakage, and have used them for meats, salads, and cooked vegetables with success. The gasket and tab system really seems to keep liquidy foods in. However, I have not tried any tomato based sauces in the containers so I don’t know how the tops hold up against that kind of stain or grease. Overall, I really like this set and prefer it over my old plastic set.

I would most definitely recommend this product. A friend has some which I thought were a good idea. Now that I have my own set and have used them, I want MORE! The lids were a little tight to latch the first time around but are easier with use. Having storage that can go into the fridge, the freezer, an oven and the microwave is wonderful. I have lots of scarred tupperware from trying to microwave leftovers, not with these babies! Running them through the dishwasher is great, don’t have to worry about them flipping over due to being lightweight. But best of all, I can see at a glance what is inside. All my previous storage containers had to be opened to properly identify what the mysterious brown or green blobs were, often too late. Anything that can help with refrigerator control is deeply appreciated.

Overall all I really like these. I would not suggest it for the elderly or people with weak hands. The lids are hard to lock. They have a very tight seal once they are snapped closed.

It seems I throw out more plastic leftover dishes then I wash. Eventually they get stained or just break down from washing and microwaving. These are a great alternative. Stackable, they have lids, and are borosilicate glass so they can withstand extremes (hot to cold and vice versa) without cracking. They are also a lot easier to clean. BPA free! This is a great price for glassware of this quality

12 Piece Round and Rectangle Good Grips OXO Stacking Containers. Love the OXO Good Grips products. These glass bowls are heavy duty. On the bottom of each glass container are images of how many cups or ounces they will hold. The largest is a rectangle shape and will hold 3.5 cups, the next size 1.6 cups, then 2 each round containers hold 1 cup and the smaller size (2 each) hold 4 ounces. Also shown on the bottom are symbols for freezing, oven and microwave use. The lids are also heavy duty and have four locking tabs and stack nicely on top of each other. I love that OXO always include a card with their info.

Heavy duty set of glass storage containers. Everything about these storage containers is heavy duty and high quality. From the removable seal to the container itself. This set comes with four glass containers that nest within each other for easy storage. The hefty gasket is removable for thorough cleaning. I found using a spoon helped get the gasket out and it was easy to pop back into the lid. It definitely helps to keep the lid area around the gasket clean. They are a little hard to close but mostly when you get to the last tab after securing the others. I have a feeling that after they break in a bit they will get easier to close. They are oven, microwave, freezer, and dishwasher safe. We tend to hand wash the gaskets and the lids though. It is nice having a container that you can cook in and then just store and take out to reheat later. Includes four containers. One 8 cup glass container with lid (9.5 in x 6.5 in x 3.75 in.), one 3.5 cup glass container with lid (8 in x 5.5 in x 3.2 in), one 1.6 cup glass container with lid (6.25 in x 4.25 in x 2.6 in) and one 4 oz container with lid (4.75 in x 3.25 in x 2.25 in). The smallest one in definitely tiny. They are BPA free.

Good Grips is such a wonderful brand. These glass containers fit inside each other (as pictured below) so are so easy to stack in the cupboard. And the lids do the same. I have had other make glass containers where the lids did not fit well and were hard to get on and off. Not with these! The lids are leak proof and so easy to snap on and off. They are dishwasher, oven, freezer and microwave safe. You can take them from freezer to oven.

When I first opened these, I was impressed by the nice thick glass and overall great quality. I liked that when you stack them together, they fit nicely and that they even tell you how many cups/ounces/liters each container holds. I was initially concerned about food or mold growth in the lids but the teal silicone pieces are removable for washing and drying which is HUGE.I also like that these are microwave, dishwasher and oven safe. What can’t these containers do?

The Good Grips glass containers set is really nice the lids are easy to put on and off they fit very well. The four sizes give you a lot of options for leftovers and I love the fact that you can go right from the freezer to the microwave. I look forward to throwing out some of the stained plastic containers I have been using. The glass allows you to see what you have inside without opening it and they clean up so nice in the dishwasher. I don’t advise washing the lids in the dishwasher unless they are on the top rack to keep anything from hurting the plastic lids.

This is an excellent set of glass containers. They are freezer, oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe. They are also BPA free. The lids are nice and hefty and not your standard snap-ons. The four clips on them press the lid down to form a very tight seal – there is no way there are popping off by accident. I put the lids through the dishwasher as well and even with the heated dry they came out perfect and did not warp at all.I like that the containers are nice enough looking that they can also be used for serving. Another thing I really liked is that the sizes (which can be seen on the bottom) are offset between the round and rectangular containers. So all 8 are different sizes to fit your needs better.
