This company never disappoints and this is no exception. These containers are heavy-duty and the lids/seals are going to last a long time. When you first get them, the lids are difficult to snap into place; I had to use the heels of my hands to do so. Once I’d had them a few weeks, they were easier to snap on. I wouldn’t recommend them for someone whose hand strength is compromised or an older person/someone who has arthritis. I’ve been transitioning to glass containers to get away from containers with BPA and these fit the bill. Being borosilicate glass, they can take the heat, cold and microwave without fracturing. The seals are removable for cleaning and easily removed (I used a butter knife to lift the one that didn’t want to cooperate). The box is a lot larger than the set because they’re packed to ensure safe arrival.

OXO Good Grips Smart Seal consist of 4 heavy, thick, Thermal Shock Resistant Glass that can be used in the oven and freezer. Sizes range from 1 cup, 2 cup, 4 cup and 7 cup sizes. 4 BPA Free plastic locking lids with removable silicone seals for thorough cleaning after each use and 4 locking tabs on each lid for a tight seal.I have found throughout the years tupperwear to be like socks. Your always missing one, too many lids or too many bowls.I have giving up on tupperwear and made the switch to glass bowls that are safe for the microwave and refrigerator. OXO went one step further by creating this convenient set which ables me to also safely cook my meals in the bowl and place directly in my oven.I love the different sizes easily stack taking less room while storing. Conveniently making it possible to keep the same number of bowls to lids.OXO Good Grip Smart Seal look nice, well made, very convenient as well as makes food preparation so much easier.

These make a good food storage solution. I have been transitioning all of our storage containers to glass recently. Mainly, because plastic storage containers never seem to dry in the dishwasher. Water just kind of sticks to them until you dry them with a towel. Glass on the other hand, water just drains right off and drys within minutes. This set comes with 4 containers and their matching lids. The lids fit securely and seal tight.

I’ve been hestitant to have glassware for food storage and let me tell you I’m switching all of my plastic! The heavy duty lid and closure on the bowls are tight & have a great seal. The bowls could be used for many items in the kitchen from food storage, cooking prep bowls and freezer safe. The bottom says how many cups each bowl holds which is handy. Love that these are stain proof versus normal plastic food storage where that happens easily!

These are great containers. They make a very strong, air-tight seal. Leave it to Oxo to improve on the plastic container. These are spillproof and the seal won’t weaken over time like other containers do. They’re dishwasher and microwave safe too. My only issue with them is they require two hands to seal and open and they’re sometimes hard to press the locking mechanism down over the side.

A great addition to any kitchen! Being a leftover lover, this is probably once of the smartest choices I’ve ever made for my food storage and cooking needs. The borosilicate glass of each of these nesting bowls is thick, and really do withstand extreme temperature changes. Over the past several weeks, I’ve put these containers through their paces. At first, I was hesitant, not believing I could actually take them directly from the freezer to the oven– I envisioned a cracked bowl and splattered casserole everywhere. But the bowls honestly do hold up when going from 0-300 degrees in a matter of minutes. I love the thick, removable gasket when cleaning, and it ensures that when the four tabs on the lid are locked, there is absolutely not one drop of leakage. The lids aren’t glass, but a very heavy plastic material– great in the microwave, but don’t put them in the oven.The four bowls also feature a capacity embossed in the bottom of the glass– very handy when following a recipe. And the latches appear to be an extension of the beefy plastic on the lids. That plastic, by the way, is BPA-free– important to a lot of consumers like me.These Good Grip containers are perfect for taking meals to work, and ideal for families who depend on secure leftover storage. Highly recommend!

I’ve been wanting to switch over to glass from plastic for a while and saw that these were a pretty good deal from what I had found elsewhere. However, they were all pretty tiny. Only one can hold a few cups, the rest were less than a cup… I don’t usually need 5 tiny containers all at the same time. One of the lids initially refused to go on, but I eventually forced it on and the longer it stays on, the easier it is to get it in on the first try.

I have used and washed these and they do withstand the dishwasher. I have had no problem in the microwave with them either. I like that the lids snap on. This is a nice assortment of glass containers. Goes from freezer to oven or microwave. The containers are easy to clean. The lids are very secure but a bit difficult to attach. That might be why they are so secure! They do not leak when the lid is attached properly. The lids are plastic- please do NOT put them in the oven- but you can put them in the microwave with the lid resting on the top of the container. But make sure the lid is not attached when you put it in the microwave- you could have a mess inside the microwave to clean up. The clear glass containers allow you to easily see the contents. They are stackable.

My wife really loves this set. They nest really nicely, are heavy duty, can go from freezer to oven and have a nice assortment of sizes.The lids snap closed and also have a nice soft seal. They are a good thickness as you can stack things on top without them being “wobbly”.Compared to a big brand plastic set, the are MUCH CHEAPER, have better lids then what is being sold lately, CLEAN MUCH BETTER, …….AND….. DON’T STAIN FROM RED SAUCES….!GREAT PRICE at HD.
