In my quest to cut down on K-cup waste, I’ve been in search of a coffee filter system that didn’t take too much counter space and would actually produce WARM coffee. After one false start, OXO comes to the rescue with their pour over coffee filter. Just the right size, the covered water filter insures not just a warm cup of coffee, but downright HOT! I’m enjoying grinding my own beans again and savoring a cup of coffee that is filtered to true taste. While the #2 filters do produce SOME waste, overall, the impact is much less than plastic k-cups. I’m enjoying this product on a daily basis.

Overall I liked this product. It was easy to use and easy to clean. The only minor negative I have is I needed to double the water to get the strength of coffee I like. So I would say you need to play around a little bit to figure out how much coffee/water you will personally need… My son used this item as well and really likes it. He thought it would be perfect for his camping trips.

We are avid coffee drinkers at our house, usually via a Chemex, but didn’t have a pour-over option. We have LOVED having a one cup option, and this OXO maker is amazing. I love that I don’t have to guess how much water I need; the tank has measuring lines which make it SUPER easy to put exactly the right amount. I’d recommend putting a little bit of water in the filter before adding your grounds to keep the filter attached to the inside edge.

I have so many coffee devices and this is my favorite! I love drip coffee and didn’t realize that it could be made any easier. The top reservoir that holds and drips your hot water is so convenient, vs the devices where you pour your water and have to manual continue adding more water. A simple elevated design but I love it. The cover is also handy because it fits under the bottom piece when I walk to my garbage can to dump the filter bag. Love love love!

This is the coolest little pour over! I’ve never used one or actually seen one. It’s quick, easy, clean and starts your day off! The top where you add the water comes off as a drain or holder. It’s easy to clean and put all away and doesn’t take much space at all. So if you want a cup of coffee over an entire pot, this is what you would want in your collection or for guests as well. 10 out of 10 with this product!

There are times when you want to brew a single cup of coffee and don’t want to mess with dragging out the big coffee maker to do that. We have a French press, but I have found that to be a cumbersome and hard-to-clean proposition. This little gem fixes all that! Simply insert a #2 filter (readily available at most stores) into the filter section, fill with coffee then place the reservoir on top of that. Then all you have to do is pour hot or boiling water into the reservoir. Then simply wait for the water to finish dripping through.Another convenient feature is that you can take the reservoir cover and use it as a stand to catch the dripping from the filter. No muss, no fuss. Nicely thought out! The only real drawback is that you have to boil water in a separate pan….

I have several pour over coffee makers, but this one, living up to OXO quality beats them all hands down! The section that sits on a mug (mine is16 oz) fits perfectly. They included some unbleached #2 cone filter samples too. Next, the water tank is marked in ounces so you make a full 12 ounces of a little less for teacups. Finally, the lid sits snug, preserving a little heat. This coffee maker is perfect for “just one more cup”without brewing another pot. Great addition to camping gear too! Very easy to rinse clean.

I received this product from OXO to review. This product came at a great time because my drip coffee maker broke right after the pour-over coffee maker arrived so I was able to really put this to the test. It made great coffee and I loved everything about it, except I wish it would have some kind of lip to keep it a bit more secure on the cup. This is definitely one of my favorite OXO products.
