Pour over coffee is a pretty simple concept, but this covers about every possible feature you could have to easily make the best possible pour over. Probably the biggest challenge with pour over is distributing the water evenly so it goes through all the grinds instead of trickling through the path of least resistance and resulting in a weak cup. The perforated water tank, something I haven’t seen in any other pour over contraption, makes it very simple to get the water distributed throughout the grounds. It also comes with a nice stack of filters, so you can use it right out of the box.

Love this pour over coffee! Quick and easy especially if you have an electric kettle! You can even put it right over a glass with ice for an iced coffee!Great way to make a single cup and avoid wasting by making a whole pot!

I normally am a french press drinker but thought this would be a bit easier at work. It is very easy to use and convenient to clean up. It does cost more than your typical french pressed cup with the liner and extra beans needed but I find the full flavor and easy clean up at work to be worth it. Also after several washes it still looks brand new!

Everything is easy and makes delicious coffee. Love how lid can be used as a saucer for the coffee maker. My only issue: coffee filter is a little tall for the funnel so the watering basin doesn’t sit completely flushed/even.Also the holes of the watering basin is a little too centered and I worry that the water isn’t being evenly displaced over all of the coffee grounds. The coffee does taste good and seems to be cooked but I wonder if there should be more even irrigation.

I love making my one coffee and I have the OXO barista brain 12 cup automatic coffee maker. However, I sometimes only want one or two cups and this pour over tool is brillant for that. It makes amazing coffee and is very quick. Clean up is a breeze. I’ve found myself reaching for this almost every morning since I’ve recieved it. Only this is wish for is less plastic material perhaps more glass or porcelain- but very minor detail!

The best things about this pour-over: 1. You get your coffee fast. 2. It’s so easy to clean. I grind my own beans while heating the water, so it takes me about five minutes start to finish to get a perfect cup of coffee. I love the little guide that shows coffee amounts + water amounts–I taped it to the inside of the cabinet door in case I stray from my usual cup size. The parts are dishwasher safe, but honestly, it takes about 30 seconds to wash the parts. That’s a huge time savings from my usual brew method (I’m looking at you, French press, with your threading-on of the three little discs…ugh!). If you’re a solo coffee drinker, this thing is perfect. If you don’t drink coffee but have the occasional guest who does, this is perfect. If you hate washing coffee pot parts but still love a good cup, this thing is PERFECT.

We have used the regular pour over coffee makers for years because we like fresh, strong coffee and they seem to be the best way to achieve this. This Good Grips pour over coffee maker makes stronger coffee with less coffee grounds probably because it meters the hot water so that it pours more slowly over the grounds. It does take a little longer to brew a cup but it makes a very good cup of coffee so it’s worth the wait.
